Gatewatch and Friends Vs Nico and Friends.

So, I was thinking that whenever the gatewatch actually fights Nico Bolas, they will probably both have help. So The Gatewatch, maybe the bring Tamiyo,Ugin if the convince him to help, if he comes they might get Sorin and Sarkhan to help.So then vs Nico Bolas, I can see him recruiting Ob Nixilis(for revenge against the gatewatch),Tezzeret, and I feel like somehow he will control Garruk, and Nahiri(Bc now she hates sorin). So Gatewatch,Tamiyo,Sorin,Sarkhan and Ugin vs Nico, Ob, Tez, Garruk and Nahiri.Who do you think wins and why?
Besides being horrible for the storyline, I think Nicol Bolas and company would easily win. Ajani is the only one to defeat Bolas and he won't help the GW, and Nahiri is a powerhouse in herself. It would definitely be an uphill battle for the Gatewatch.

I'm struggling to see how this conflict would be be "bad" for magic the gathering players. If anything this conflict could be the high point of years of good story telling. And then for awhile we'd feel the fall out of the conflict before a new conflict would start to brew.
Case and point look at both D.C. And Marvel. Both have been running stories for years and even though they do reboots every now and then they successfully do multiple conflicts on a grande scale where heroes and villains alike fall. There are grand foes who no one hero alone could face. The villains win sometimes and the heroes must rebuild and rise up to face them.
An all out war between the neowalkers would be an epic battle on a scale Magic the Gathering hasn't produced since Yawgmoth was around.
And even if such an epic battle were to end a character like Nicol Bolas I firmly believe wizards has plenty of possible villains to follow. Ashiok could easily in my opinion fill the role as main big bad in the multiverse or at least for awhile. Or maybe a shattered gatewatch isn't strong enough to stop walkers like ashiok vraska and tezzeret from laying claim to realms and conquering them.
And most importantly of all such a conflict that would put the eldrazi trio in conflict with each other would be awesome in my opinion simply because I see Nicol Bolas being evil enough to make nahiri see the error of her ways and join back up with the good guys and her and Sorin having a bitter but somehow understandable moment where they come to terms with each others sins.
So in conclusion an epic battle on that scale with all the neo walkers pitted against one another isn't a bad thing. It's be an opportunity if don't correctly for story telling we haven't seen in years.

Besides, Ajani "won" that battle. He had the Maelstrom to tip the battle in his favor. There's no such thing on Amonkhet, so it's a definite loss.
...also, you can't have Nahiri without Obby (who got slapped with a hedron by her), Sorin (see SOI), and Ugin all at the same time. And Nicky won't be there.

D.C. and Marvel are examples of exactly how not to do this - after you have a monumental conflict, the story pales in comparison until 1 of 2 happens:
1/ An even grander conflict than the previous one, diminishing the importance of the previous one.
2/ Piddle about for a while and reboot the thing.
Both are bad options for continous stories.
Plus the neowalkers had an epic battle already - vs the two Eldrazi titans. That was quite anti-climatic and pretty much an exact problem of what the Gatewatch should not do - epic battles where they have 0 troubles. 4 paltry neowalkers had a bigger victory vs the Eldrazi than ugin, sorin and nahiri before the Mending? Give me a break.
If anything, I think the GW will go against the solo Nicol Bolas and lose horribly, just like Jace and Tezzeret did in the past. They are about due for a defeat anyway.

Yeah the gatewatch just lose to bolas in a bolas v gatewatch fight. Nahiri wouldn't be teaming up with bolas, she was pissed at sorin but the gatewatch saved zendikar. Tezzeret was already shown to be a strong opponent for the gatewatch and that was Tezzeret alone. Maybe he will have some part of the Amonkhet story and be paired with Bolas but there's really no need for anything more than Bolas.
IF ugin ends up involved with the gaewatch then Bolas would need some help. Like the Gods and armies that are all over the plane he basically owns. The GW are in very unfriendly territory here, where everything supports/worships Bolas. He won't need planeswalkers to support him. They're just going to lose.

In the middle of the fight, Nissa sacrifices herself to create a diversion for the Gatewatch to escape, and they leave without her. Nissa and Liliana are my Gatewatch favs, so that would be sad and terrible. I personally think Ugin will try to get revenge on Bolas, but I don't think Tamiyo will step in to fight, maybe get some allies. Garruk and Tezzeret could definitely be manipulated by Bolas, but I feel Nahiri would be more of a free agent if she were on his side, which I doubt, but hey it's possible.

U forget, Sorin is unable to planeswalk, because he is stuck inside of Markov Manor, with the pain of stone biting into his internal organs causing him to lose focus on most anything else. This includes the effort to planeswalk away from the stone, to help the alliance. It'll probably be a while before we see him again (which is a shame. He brings a lot of good storylines through his connection to other planeswalkers, regardless if you like him or not). Plus, he'd potentially stay out of it, or abandon the cause soon after, given his selfish and self-serving nature. An interesting option for Bolas would be Ashiok, from Theros. We know he's a villain, but I don't think we know much more about him (unless I'm missing something). Wizards could then give him a personality that fits into Bolas's schemes.

Nicol Bolas will not die, of this I am sure.
The Gatewatch need to lose, Ajani warned them against going to Amonkhet. As has already been mentioned though, the Gatewatch are OP, they are so OP that they defeated the Eldrazi, that much more powerful Planeswalkers lost too, or at least they didn't defeat the Eldrazi.
The story is in a bad place, if the Gatewatch story were properly translated to cards, they would be banned immediately. They decided to kill some Eldrazi, and they did it, no problems, easy stuff.
I fully expect the Gatewatch to win, but Bolas will survive. They will probably just take the Plane back from Bolas and fix some of the wrong he did to it. Bolas will leave with his tail between his legs, and the Gatewatch will keep doing their thing.
Hell they might resurrect Yawgmoth just to kick him in the teeth.

I think it will suck for all Magic story if that really happened. Regardless of who wins (though it is obvious it will be gatewatch, who dispatched 2 of the immortal interplanar beings by derping around), it will suck for Magic storytelling, because where do you go from there? What conflict could ever compare to this?
If that ever happens (I estimate about !% chance of it actually happening), every future Magic conflict will pale in comparison.
So, in my opinion, the winner of that battle is no-one, and every Magic story reader is the loser.
