So recently I started watching Ghost in the Shell which deals with the several issues related to "Ghost in the Machine", a paper written by Arthur Koestlur. One of the things it made me ponder was at what point does cybernetic implants/body replacement cause a person to lose their soul?
So if WotC was to use these concepts as part of a characters story or identity or as a vehicle for a characters story do you think it would be better served on Kaladesh, which may well be a steam-punk plane, or on New Phyrexia where you have the Vedalken as well as beings like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur?
It's a shame that they decided to kill off Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer back on Mirrodin for no apparent reason. From the MTG Salvation Wiki: "Unfortunately, it seems as if Slobad's life really was cursed. He was tragically killed shortly after he and Glissa returned to the surface, brought low by hordes of panicked goblins whose elders had just vanished with no explanation."
@ CheeseBro thanks I will have to read up on it. I wish I had been playing MTG back then XD

That's as close as it gets since they don't have cybernetic implants, but metallic limbs that operate by magic means.

I have nothing really to contribute other than saying good choice on an amazing anime.
