Have Gideon and Elspeth Ever Met?

I have noticed that Gideon and Elspeth are similar in many ways; each embodies the color white in this game very thoroughly and could even be its poster children; Gideon is from Theros, and Elspeth has visited Theros; both have visited the Bant shard of Alara; Gideon is a soldier and Elspeth is a knight, similar occupations; and both have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of justice and assisting others in need.
Therefore, I must ask: have they ever met, either on Theros, on Bant, or elsewhere? If they have, when and where did it occur, and, if not, how likely is it that they shall met, and how shall they interact with each other? Also, I find myself wondering if they would make a good romantic couple, because of their similarities; what does everyone else have to say on this subject?

But she is in the Theros underworld, so she isn't dead dead. More like superman dead. She will come back at some point, but most likely not soon.

Hey as long as my favorite planeswalker comes back I won't complain, unless they change her colors. Then I would complain loudly and frequently.

I figure she'll be BW and make Zombie Soldier tokens. Return to Theros six years from now will be miserable.

Didn't they backlog Giddeon's story so that he was a soldier on Theros? Not sure of timelines and when he sparked vs. when Elspeth was on Theros, but it's entirely possible that they have met, and we just don't know it.

Gideon was imprisoned all of his adolescents into adulthood. The only time he was out was to stop the attack on akros and immediately after that he was sent on that mission by heliod. After that he was on bant for a bit. I don't know if he ever went back to Theros after that but it is unlikely that they met beforehand.

They would have met on Bant if anything and I don't believe that happened.

As a side note, did Gideon's backstory occur before or after the events of the Theros block? I shall presume that it occurred before, but how much before?

spoiler: in the "return to Theros" block Gideon goes back to Theros at the behest of Ajani with the goal of rescuing her from the underworld. when they finally do, Gideon and Elspeth fall in love and start having white babies.

shinobigarth, WotC revealed that Dack Fayden has traveled to Theros to retrieve an artifact of great power, so I would not be surprised if he encounters Elspeth in some form.

cool beans. i was completely joking about the spoiler alert BTW.
in all seriousness, maybe Dack wants to steal one of the gods' weapons (lol) and then Ajani enlists him to steal Erebos' whip in order to try and get her back with it? her and Ajani became close is why i would say him; Gideon is probably too busy to come over honestly. maybe she will fall in love with Ajani and then THEY will have white babies (white human-leonin babies if that even works LOL)?! inter-species relationship FTW!! unless, like speculations are, if and when she does come back, she will be one of the Returned and thus have some black in her, or possibly even all black (thought that seems unlikely).

Elspeth will most likely end up in a romance with Sorin (once you go black, you don't go back).

Well, I mean, she was in a relationship with Daxos of Meletis. And then she killed him... On accident, I think. Seems like a pretty difficult thing to bounce back from in addition to coming back to life. On top of that, she's got her issues from her childhood dealing with the Phyrexians. Really, Elspeth just deserves some peace and quiet. Let her go settle down in a Kithkin township in Lorwynn.

As far as romantic is concerned um....spoiler alert
Elspeth is dead. Heliod killed her after she killed Xenagod on Theros so I'm not thinking a romantic entanglement is likely.
