I need help with something. so, over at Worst flavor texts? I was having a debate about Momentous Fall and one thing that came up was do eldrazi die of natural causes? also, could a few spears really kill one?
for all we know, that picture depicts merfolk killing a yeti. artists always like to keep it abstract.
Seriously though, I doubt elves could, at least with spears.

Eldrazi spawns are 0/1 creatures that are sacrificed for mana, and also are just produced by the presence of the main Eldrazi Titans. So they could die pretty easily to spears. However, I don't believe that Eldrazi die of natural causes, but the Eldrazi spawns die naturally when the titans devour them.

doesn't having 0 power condradict Momentous Fall though? you'd draw 0 cards. which leaves me to believe this card refers to a bigger eldrazi, which means the picture does too.

DBCooper: Interesting thought on the situation.
Lets look at the Elf with the highest power in ZEN block:Wildheart Invoker. Are there Eldrazi with 4 toughness?
Lets look at the Eldrazi with the lowest toughness in ZEN block(excluding Eldrazi Spawn tokens), and looks like the Eldrazi in Momentous Fall: Emrakul's Hatcher. Has those weird tentacles, and is able to be killed by Wildheart Invoker. However, Wildheart Invoker would die in combat. This is where his ability comes into the scene: he is able to survive with it.
Overall, this card is, in fact, possible.

no, look at the skin color. the hatcher is a drone, and as a drone is only aout three, maybe 4 times as big as a human/elf. look at the scale. that things easily 10 times larger

So it's not the hatcher or a spawn token. what eldrazi actually looks like Momentous Fall's picture?
ideally, something that Wildheart Invoker can kill?

Why can't it just be a Hand of Emrakul that got teamed up on by like eight Elves?

because it would have to be nine elves.
annihilator is a beast.

I mean, the Invoker could kill the Hand with it's ability. But also remember, lore wise and card wise, a creatures power to toughness ratio isn't equal.

This was the best card debate/explanation I've read in awhile.

I could see that for the spawns. I don't that for the big 3.
