IDW Chandra #1 Speculation

Is Chandra #1 Canon? According to the comic, Bolas beat the gatewatch, but didn’t kill them. One page shows the Guildpact shattered, and certain quotes refer as well. ”I’ve seen worlds end”. What does everyone think?

RicketyEng I agree! It’s not like WOTC to spoil their Ravnica book.

Warning! Long post ahead!
This thread bothers me more than it should because it's been on my mind a lot. I'll break this down with my thoughts, after spending some time thinking it over:
-
Bolas: That part could be referring to Amonkhet (See Hour of Devastation and, of relevance, Chandra's Defeat ).
-
The Guildpact: This part, I think, is spoiler-worthy. This is probably the most plausible outcome in War of the Spark.
-
Worlds Ending: Again, this could be referring to events outside Ravnica. Amonkhet comes to mind again but also Zendikar (The second rodeo, when Ulamog and Kozilek were running around). The situation there was dire too.
Also, there are some things to consider: If Bolas wins, then the last two sets/blocks were pointless. Recall that Jace covered up Vraska's true memories of their time on Ixalan. He'll unlock those, I imagine, at a crucial time and turn the tide against Bolas. Bolas does not know that Vraska ran into Jace there. Also, what was the point of Gideon finding and wielding the Blackblade if it's futile against Bolas? There's also the Liliana factor, and she'll have a role to play here. She'll probably backstab Bolas at a crucial moment once she finds a way. Black mages are known schemers, after all. Also, think of all the character development that occurs after Amonkhet. Would that all be for nothing too?
Also, each of the Bolas-aligned guildleaders may turn against him once reality sets:
Kaya: I imagine she'll be first. Everyone who's read her debut article will know why: She's got morals, and when she realizes what she helped happen, she'll work to stop it.
Domri: As much as the Gruul want Ravnica to burn, they won't be pleased with the idea that the Raze-Boar was a giant dragon instead, let alone be lied and manipulated.
Vraska: This needs no info.
Ral: Difficult to factor in, until you read a few cards where he shows up: He suspects that he's being played, and he certainly won't be pleased when he finds that out. See Command the Storm .
Dovin: The only one who won't defect, and I imagine he might kick the bucket here. He's too closely tied to Bolas to defect, and will probably be brought down by Lavinia and the other Azorius members who are against him.
Those are my two cents, and to answer your question: Yes, it could very well be canon, but it's a question of placing events and places into perspective.

If you look at the Chandra page with flashbacks, it clearly shows a city in ruins, with a Izzet Tower clearly burning.

Even so. It was clear that Ravnica's going to be a giant heap of ruin, but Bolas winning? I highly doubt that. If anything, I'd call it a hollow victory for the 'Watch: Bolas is ousted, but the damage is done and too much to call it a real victory.

The timing of when it occurs relative to current events seemed ambiguous to me too.
