I am very glad that Akiri survived, but she clearly has no desire to participate any further in this struggle, which I can understand.
I can sympathize with Jace in his desire to study and understand the lithoform core, so I now feel that Nissa is the one who is being irrational and impulsive. This is now the second time that Jace has thought of Bolas, so it is clear that WotC has further plans for him (Bolas), but I really hope that they wait for several years before featuring him, again, so that the audience has time to miss him.
It seems that an epic battle is about to begin, so I do hope that this story has a satisfactory conclusion and that everyone can reconcile their differences.

I like the ever-shifting "alliances" that we are getting through these stories. We started out with Nahiri and Nissa working together until they discovered their fundamental differences in how best to care for Zendikar. We then have Jace trying to play the mediator. He started by helping his friend Nissa, then made an uneasy truce with Nahiri in hopes of slowing her efforts and learning more about the core. The dynamics of a three sided conflict are fascinating to me.
I think I'm just hoping that Jace and Nissa's friendship isn't irreparably harmed at the end of this battle. They are my two favourite planeswalkers.
I was also glad to see Akiri get a reprieve. That bit with Jace reading her name was good - I had to go back and check.

They’re all playing their colours fairly well.
Jace - interested but detached. He cares about Nissa, but doesn’t understand her connection to Zendikar as she knows it. His statements about ancient Zendikar being like Ravnica and peace from the roil really show the Emotional disconnection of blue.
Nahiri is passionately loyal to her version of Zendikar too. Her people, her culture, but her anger against Sorin, Ugin and her guilt for her role in it has made her minimize the value of the cultures that exist on Zendikar now post Eldrazi in the name of “a better Zendikar.”
Nissa’s green is always obvious but I like the black splash to her here. Her total disregard for anyone threatening her goals is epic to watch. I’ve always liked Nissa, from the original Zendikar block, so to see her as the irrational threat is cool for me.
