In which Liliana gets around to doing her own investigation and learns more about the nature of death on Amonkhet.

It's always interesting when we get to see Liliana appear vulnerable; we actually get to know her a little better. She almost sounded like she is starting to consider the other planeswalkers her friends.

I wonder what about The Chain Veil prevents Razaketh from attempting to collect on her debt. Is it simply a matter of the power it gives her or is there more to it? Also, the implication that maybe the Raven Man could be able to take control of the Chain Veil is pretty ominous.

I think it will be neat if this is how Temmet ends up getting embalmed. That is, I wonder if Jace just accidentally got Temmet killed either directly or indirectly.

Who else thinks the Gate to the Afterlife is a Planar Bridge?

Lili made the mistake of not trusting the gatewatch to help her whack Razaketh; especially when his influence is part of Bolas' power-play here.

Also, likely going to see Razaketh in the next set. Any takers on what his power is going to be like? Is he going to have an outrageous cost to cast like Griselbrand?

Liliana the GOAT. And I loved how she let Jace come for a source of eye candy. Did anyone else get the imoression that they were doing more than just late night drinking on Ravnica at her house or is it just that? Jace's lack of trust in her makes me think the latter.

Agent Green, if Razaketh is somehow partially behind the ambient necromancy on Amonkhet, maybe he would have some sort of abilities to do with zombies. Maybe reducing embalm costs, he could be white black or something, or maybe even an effect like that of Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, immediately bringing back your creatures after they die, possibly "You may pay 0 for embalm costs". Just some thoughts.

The snoop group strikes again. We're building up to something big. Let's hope it actually bears fruit.

Razaketh seems like a chill guy.

I definitely liked this story very much; so, Razaketh knows that Liliana is on Amonkhet? He will definitely be after her, so I expect her to confront him, in the next set.

How does Jace know about Liliana's demons? Did she tell him when they first met?

Is Razaketh allied with Bolas, I presume? If so, Bolas will not be pleased that Liliana is seeking to kill him (Razaketh).

DemonDragonJ Jace learned about Liliana's demons in the novel Agents of Artifice. She asked for his help to take over the Infinite Consortium. Sometime along the way he learned that the goal of this was to pay off Bolas to help break the contract with the demons.

Bolas probably doesn't care about the snoop group. Short of awful writing, there's no way they can interrupt his plan for Amonkhet yet.
