My friends got me a few books and im reading the purifying fire and that got me thinking. What planes do we know that exists that wizard hasn't made into a block that could work. I mean, unless something happens to the plane they are on right now, diraden, they couldn't use that for story reason. (i dont want to spoil anything from the book). So anyone know of a plane that sounds fun that they could actually make into a block?
The plane which is scene on River of Tears is yet to be visited. I can't remember it's name, but it appears on a Planar Chaos Plane card.

Well on the note of purifying fire there's still the two planes mentioned in that yet to be visited Chandra's homeworld being one of those.

No, we've not had a block that centers around Shandalar explicitly like other blocks with other planes

I wonder if they do a pattern of when they visit a new block verses when they revisit an old one.

I would like to see them visit more of the planes they made in the planechase cards. It would also be awesome for them to make a promo plane card at the beginning of each block. Like they could have made a Theros plane card. Obviously they're saving them up for more planechase releases but c'mon we got 3 or 4 different innistrad plane cards in 2012. Not that i'm complaining or anything, but i want more variety. Hell we still haven't even gotten Esper yet lol

Well they have to get some new ones before they make another set of planes chase cards. So it might be another block or two before we see more

I just hope they print a Baltrice card and not kill her off in the lore before we get a chance to see her as a card.

A whole bunch of still-living characters are Planeswalkers, but the MAIN ones who are still active and who would be dubbed "Neo-walkers" would be Dack and Ramaz. Sifa Grent is supposedly dead for good...

I'm really waiting for Dack to be a card. I have seen a lot of fan-made cards depicting Dack as a Planeswalker, and I kind of agree that Dack would sensibly make a very good example of a Planeswalker that should be able to use its Loyalty Abilities at instant-speed. He's definitely a Red-Blue Planeswalker, but not 100% sure the nature of his abilities. Clearly he uses Izzet-style magic on the fly (fire, lightning) but he ALSO very much has a connection with artifacts, so I'm not 100% sure WHAT to think of Dack as a card. I'm prepared to make a Hellkite Tyrant + _ Keyrune based deck just in case he ever gets released, because I definitely think it would fit his flavor due to being ANOTHER Planeswalker who primarily lives in Ravnica, uses Red mana, and involves himself with artifacts, esp from the guilds.

Three blocks from now will be a multicolour block. they do one every four years. Here's hoping it's a wedge block, but I guess it'll be aimed at five colour again.

@krosanTusker, what do you mean by multicolor? i should say what constitues as a multicolor. I know we had shards, but every block has multi color cards. can you give me a run down

I think what he is getting at is a multicolor focused block like alara and the ravnica blocks. Where there are more than the normal amount of multicolor cards floating about. I think the next block being muraganda where basic lands matter and monocolor is king would fit nicely with the theros block.

Firstly, the story behind Zendikar is awesome. As it stands, the Eldrazi have been released and Zendikar is being destroyed, and Gideon has planeswalked away to find help. Revisiting Zendikar would probably mean a conclusion to the story, which a lot of people want.
Secondly, fetch lands.

Fetch lands goes without saying. But onslaught had them and no one all "OMG OTARIA" Lol and in my opinion the book for the zendikar block sucked. The writer was terrible, which is also why the scars book was disappointing. While I like the fanservice of returning to planes. I think it should wait to return to zendikar.

It was left kind of screwed up. The Eldrazi are killing everything and it's a bit of a mess.
Like MisterRoach said, by a multicolour block I mean a block which is focused on multicolour strategies, like Ravnica, Alara, and RTR. Yeah, other blocks can have multicolour cards, but the focus is on something else, like Innistrad and Lorwyn were heavily tribal blocks.

I'm not quite sure it's that bad; I know Gideon had some success fighting the eldrazi but couldn't fight Emrakul so he left.
The eldrazi were subdued and imprisoned by three planeswalkers before, but I think that was before the Mending when 'walkers were more powerful.

Thats the question. I know chandra was there in search for power. But i dont know who would all be there. I would assume chandra and or gideon would make another appearance. But i dont know enough about the zandikar lore

I reckon Sorin would show his face on Zendikar. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Sorin was one of the 'walkers that imprisoned the Eldrazi in the first place. He also advised Nissa not to do whatever bitchy thing she did that released the Eldrazi, and now she's searching for him to try and fix her mistake, so he has a bit of involvement in the more recent Eldrazi takeover.
At least I think that's how it is.

Thing I would like to see in the future:
. Return to kamigawa.
. Tavelia (just because how ridiculous kothophed looks (as seen in the demonic vs divine reprint of Demonic Tutor )).
. A scifi plane.
. A multicolour based plane with the three colour combinations that alara left unnamed.
. More phyrexia (I know, call me insane).

I mean like, going to middle earth and make gandalf into a magic card would be awesome (Jace, the Mind Sculptor now has a rival). In all honesty though, i haven't read the books, so i don't konw much about the lore except for that lotr/the hobbit is totally magic related.
