Well, surprise surprise...the next piece is up.
I agree.
And we get an idea about the Raven Man too. Perhaps he is a pawn of Belzenlok's?

Thanks much, Phaetion ... I didn't realize we were getting another chapter today!

clayperce: Neither did I. It was quite a surprise, tbh. They might make it a daily thing. Who knows?

Blake Rasmussen, aka the editor of Daily MTG, sent out a tweet last week that they were putting out two story episodes this week.
It's back to weekly from here.

Me neither. Maybe the story is going to be very long and massive

JWiley129: Ah, ok. That explains the mystery entry. Thanks for the information.

I was not expecting a second story, this week, so I hope that WotC is not rushing through it.
This story was slightly faster paced than was the previous one, and I also feel that less happened in it.
I was very disappointed that Josu was defeated so early and easily, as I was expecting a long, epic, and emotional battle between him and Liliana. As with Azor, this was a major buildup to a very anticlimactic finish. Hopefully, the battle against Belzenlok will be more impressive.

I also felt Josu was defeated very quickly and easily, I figured he would be more involved in the story.
Otherwise I liked it, Liliana has been my favorite since I started playing and cracked Liliana of the Dark Realms in my first booster. I think her character is developing nicely.

Good story, but I didn't like also that Josu was defeated so early. Going from discovering her brother was being used by the Cabal in the first story, to putting him to rest by the end of the second was a bit fast wouldn't you say? Hopefully the encounter(s) with Belzenlok will be better than what we saw with Razaketh.

Apparently the story for this set is going to take Gideon and Lili all over Dominaria, so it makes sense that the local enemies need to be dispatched early on. It's not like Josu was going to travel to another continent with them to be defeated later in the story...

Also, they needed a reason for her to not be able to kill the final demon like all the others so she will probably send them all over to find a way.

That was definitely a satisfying story. The battle tactics were cool, the results were cool, the art selections were awesome.
