Today's episode takes place after Ep. III, where Gids and Lili prepare to make their move, but first they have to go to visit Tolaria West to solve a problem

Did I miss the story where Lilliana kills Josu? They reference it happening; but I don't remember reading it

greyninja it was Episode 2.

I can hardly believe it, but Im starting to feel a minimal amount of sympathy for Liliana...especially when Gideon reveals how well he knows her, and how he will be her friend despite not putting up with her bad tude... too bad the recently spoiled In Bolas Clutches tells us that she wont be around for much longer, so it may be another while before she ever grows up.

I liked how level-headed both Ajani and Gideon remained throughout the entire argument.

Will fungus-lord guy show up anytime soon? He looks so cool, but they just offhandedly referenced him once last week

landofMordor I know, right?! Just when we get some character development for Liliana and she kills all of her demons, Bolas whisks her away! Tragic and what a spoiler from Wizards with some of these cards.

For this story, my favorite things were Jhoira and Jodah interacting and just Raff as a character.

Before this chapter in MS Dominaria, I only saw the anythings possible, optimistic Jhoira, but around Jodah, she seemed more tense and emotional. I liked that development, and I hope to see more sides of her with Teferi coming into the plot.

Raff is laughable with his little lies, and even more so when he is honest: I can try. I think its ironic that hes a white-blue mage, but seems to be a troublemaker or at least a rule breaker. Typically red or red-blue in search of knowledge like he does.

I think we might be seeing the potential for a White Black Liliana. The idea behind Orzhov is a distrust of others and a desire for self progression, but working with others in order to achieve that power.

Liliana displayed a glint of this when she joined the Gatewatch, but it's even more clear in this chapter. Especially now that she understands that her usual source of power, from making pacts with demonic entities and elder dragons, is much more painful than putting up with Gideon and his bros.

In this story, I felt that Liliana was being irrational and immature for not wishing accept anyone's assistance or reveal too much of her past, and I also liked how calm and rational Ajani and Gideon were.

The meeting of characters old and new was very nice, and I will be very interested to see how they interact.

Ajani said that Phyrexia cannot leave Mirrodin, but I do not believe that that shall be the case for very long, as it is almost certain that they shall eventually develop a method for traveling to other planes (especially considering that Tezzeret has Rashmi's planar bridge), so that they can again be a threat to the multiverse. Also, Ajani likely does not know that Karn may have unintentionally infected other planes beyond Mirrodin with Phyrexian oil, so I hope that that idea is explored further in the future.
