Nope, that's all Sorin did. You didn't miss anything.

Which raises MANY questions, perhaps he will still be on Tarkir 1000 years from now!

You haven't missed anything, Sorin came to Tarkir was for one purpose, to find Ugin as he hadn't heard from Ugin in a looooooooooooong time. Now, with Sarkhan having changed Ugin's Fate and putting in the hedron incubation thingy, hopefully Dragon's of Tarkir will feature Sorin still showing up, still looking for Ugin, still having not heard from him for a loooooooooooooooooooooooong time but this time actually finding an alive Ugin! Albeit one in a near comatose state inside of a hedron incubation thingy ma bob.

Sorin awakens Ugin in the altered future (because he is the only other one to know what the hedrons are) and Ugin Liberated is born!

Ugin Liberated

+10: exile up to 10 target permanents.

+5: You win the game.

-1: You get an emblem with "You can't lose the game".

Do we get a Sorin, Happy Visitor too? Negs to make disco vampires or something?

With his Silumgar-suede shoes, no doubt. He'll be the star of "Blue Tarkir" and this will work because he's not the type of vampire to sparkle. No more speculation for the MTG movie kids, we got this one covered

@Ohthenoises

I think you forgot 2 lines of text on that version of Ugin.

"You can have any number of Ugin Liberated in your deck."

and

"If Ugin Liberated is in your opening hand, you may begin the game with it on the battlefield, and activate it's -1 ability."

Don't forget:

"The owner of Ugin Liberated" may charge any amount of money or request anything they want in trades for this card."

...technically, every cards has that. You can always charge/request anything you want. The other person just doesn't have to accept the request.
