After being on hiatus last week, a new story has been posted for this week.

The Orzhov guild is my favorite guild, so I am glad that their story was nearly last, and I also am glad that this story showed that not all of them are corrupt, greedy, and money-hungry. It is obviously a pure coincidence that the main character of this story was named Miri, but I wonder if the writer was aware of the other and very famous character named Mirri (with two R’s) as they wrote this story.

It certainly was very interesting that this is the second time in this series of stories that the Selesnya and Orzhov guilds have interacted with each other, but, this time, the interaction was much less antagonistic.

I definitely disliked the idea that the members of the Selesnya guild bathe only on occasion, so I now wonder if those members who grow body or facial hair shave it on a regular basis.

I am very glad that Miri and her father both realized that there are forms of wealth and treasure beyond money (which is very atypical compared to most members of the Orzhov guild whom have been shown, thus far), but I cannot believe that Miri's father did not realize that the plant was not truly producing coins; or, perhaps he did, but did, but pretended to not notice, because he appreciated the gesture that Miri was making.

Only one guild remains, so I do hope that the final story is an excellent one, and I wonder what stories there shall be after that? I do hope that the main story is still told on the website, even with the new novel soon to be released.

It's nice that they tie this story back to the original Orzhov villain from the selesnya story.

I thought that was awesome that Miri's father was the Orzhov guy from the Selesnya story. And he's also the guy who got knocked into the water while inspecting Gimbly Wothis's docks.

Yeah, the Azorius story should be excellent and more tied into the main plot, since Azorius is at the center of Dovin's/Bolas' web of power on Ravnica.

I think all the guilds have been humanized past their stereotypes through these stories, which have been the best parts about it for me.

dbpunk, RicketyEng, I missed that detail, entirely; where was that stated? Nice find!

DemonDragonJ, the father came home mad looking, all beat up, with a replaced leg, and cursing the Selesnyans. Then there was also mention of him coming home drenched and complaining that he was almost crushed by a crate of wine.

RicketyEng, wow that is a great addition by the storytellers, and a nice way to link the stories to each other.
