Theories about Ixidor

Ixidor, creator of akroma, scupltor of realities....
Why didn't he become a planewalker?
With all of the stuff he did, all he could do, Why the hell not?
Here's a thought, though... what if he is?
It was said that he could real things, living things, Take akroma, for example. He created her, an angel of immense power, just by deciding that he wanted her to exist. she became fused with phage, and ended up creating karona, the false god, who killed ixidor
But did she really?
Ixidor can make sentient life forms at his every whim. What if he had made himself? What if, to avoid personal conflict and risk death, he created a perfect replica of himself that wouldn't have these thoughts of self-preservation? That would mean that he still exists.
In fact, He had created a paradise for himself and lived in it for quite a time. This "paradise" he built for himself, as far as I know, was never revealed as to what it was. This could mean something extraordinary- Ixidor created his own plane. This plane could have been so many things. It might have been simply a place where he and all his little morph guys could chill, but what if it was something more?
What if the plane, or even planes, he created, were tarkir and/or zendikar? This may be a stretch, but the original morph look might have something to do with the eldrazi. They contain creatures in them, similar to the hedrons, they're colorless, like the eldrazi, they physically look similar to eldrazi spawn with all the detail taken off.... Personally, I think this is unlikely, but it could still be so. The tarkir idea makes a bit more sense to me. Morph had originaly shown up at onslaught, just as the basic idea for face down creatures. Now, in tarkir, it came back. If Ixidor HAD created this plane and simply dumped all the morphs out on there, it is possible that they evolved. In fact, with all the different species that could have been in those morphs, They too could have evolved and developed into the tarkir we know today.
Another idea for what his "bizzare paradise"'s plane was, that I think is the best, is the time spiral block. Ixidor must have gotten bored and decided, "what would have happened if things had gone differently?".
With this, he decided to create all of these alternate realities, depicting what would have happened had things gone differently, braids never joining the cabal, crovax never becoming a vampire, and if he had used black mana instead of blue. When the cabal finally attacked Ixidor's fortress. When this happened, something occured that caused the time rifts in dominaria to latch onto the realities Ixidor had created.
In the end, maybe he is a planewalker. With all the things he could create, he easily could have left long ago, replacing anything he felt like taking with illusions and stand-ins.
Thats all for theorizing about him right now, please tell me what you thought about all this, and I hope you enjoyed it!

hell, he could have created bolas. If he had enough power I don't see why he couldn't just create an entire multiverse.

Time spiral block was about teferi and venser bringing parts of dominaria back after YAWGMOTH's defeat. Teferi had suspended in time his home so it would not be destroyed should YAWGMOTH have won. Hence the timestream fluxuations.

Yeah, I can't really see him dying... Although I don't think he's a planeswalker, but that he's hiding and waiting for his spark patiently while observing the event around the Multiverse. When he actually needs to get his butt over to fight the Eldrazi, he will.

The reason that Morph, Manifest, and Megamorph exist on Tarkir is because of Ugin. In FRF, we get Manifest, the FIRST form of concealment magic. Then, the timeline splits. In KTK, Ugin falls, but the clans steal his magic. In DTK, Ugin is revived, so his magic becomes stronger. This isn't Ixidor's doing.

I really like these kind of ideas, however unlikely they are. Someone forward this to the lore guy at WotC

well, I'm glad you enjoy it!
I have NO clue who you're talking about though, so someone else will have to do it.

what if Ixidor made Ugin, and that's where he got morphs from. What if Ixidor made all of us, and we're the card game?

what if hitler cured cancer and never got a chance to tell everyone?
the answer is, don't think about it.
thats be wierd, though. one of your mtg cards knows you're there all of a sudden. what would it think?

either "get me out of this sleeve" or "for the love of god, quit putting me through the automatic shuffler, I'm actually worth something"

well, if they were sentient, how would they see the battlefield as? would they see it as more of them, or would they see warriors and spell casters and huge monsters?
anyhow, mine would be freaked out. the ones I dont care about all that much would be all like "hey! haven't seen you in a- wait? why arent you talking? did I do something wrong?" then they'd go in the grave. (I play EDH, btw.) and the ones I use a lot would be scared b/c when I draw them, I rub them on my cheak b/c I love them so...

forgot to add something, If he had enough power/mana to create a plane, he could harvest enough more from that plane to make another, and another, and so on. For all we know, Ixidor could be the most powerful being in the multiverse of MTG, just always on the run creating more and more planes for us to explore.
