There's also an Oath of the Gatewatch story wrap up.
To Innistrad!

Green/White? Arlinn studied to become an archmage of Goldnight, so it's possible she's G/W rather than G/R, or even Naya colours.

This quote isn't from the UR, rather from Arlinn's planeswalker profile, but I think it might be one of the most important lines in either article.
"...where the angel's church is launching a new inquisition more terrifying than anything they've done before..."
Could they be attempting to contain Ormendahl and other powerful rising demons, or us there something more sinister going on?
One thing's for sure though: that demon art is super badass.

Werewolves are traditionally GR, but as you said she did study at Goldnight, however Gisela, Blade of Goldnight is WR so she could be GRW as well.
I see her being GR or GW to be honest (more likely GR to me simply for flavour reasons) as having another 3 colour Planeswalker so soon after our very first one seems a bit wrong. Also consider how we are leaving the 3 colour environment behind with Khans rotating out. Either way we should be seeing another flip walker similar to Garruk Relentless Flip
It seems like one of our storys for the people of Innistrad will involve the hunting of the werewolves. I have a feeling that with Avacyn and the Church focusing on them it is allowing the other dark forces to gather in strength. I'm more interested in seeing what Nahiri has been up to though!

The first 3-Color planeswalker was Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker way back in Conflux. That's not very recent, 2009.

You are forgetting Sarkhan Unbroken as our next 3 colour planeswalker SSJ_Weegee.

i didn't forget him, just pointing out that he was not the first as Maltanis implied.

Wow, the Shadows Over Innistrad block begins with great drama and excitement! It is so nice to be back on this plane after having not visited it for several years, and I am glad to see that the dark horror theme is still very present.
Was this story set before or after Avacyn's return? If it is set after, why would the wards be failing? Should they not be more powerful than ever, with Avacyn once again present?
I definitely hope to see more of Halana and Alena, and even expect them to be cards in this set, and I am certainly expecting Ormendahl to be a creature, as well. However, if he is, will that decrease the chances of Shilgengar appearing in this block?
Many players had been hoping for a werewolf planeswalker for some time, so it seems that there now is finally one! I imagine that Arlinn Kord's card shall have a loyalty ability that can transform the card to either side free of loyalty. Is her planeswalker spark what enables her to control her transformation and retain her human sentience in her werewolf form? I am hoping for her to be more than only green in terms of color; red/green makes sense, to me.

someone from my LGS said she looks like Michael Cera LOL

Could be Green-White that transforms into Green-Red. That would be tri-colored without needing tri-color support in limited.
Also, if they don't make a legendary werewolf too, a lot of players are gonna be super disappointed.

sonnet666 could she not be a creature-to-walker transformer like in Origins?
March 3, 2016 3:25 a.m.
I'm wondering if we'll see withengar again along with this ormendahl. Last we saw of withengar he had been unleashed and causing havoc but the story line was never closed.
I think it's time to say Emrakuls not gonna show there are way to many demonic villains here for her to be relevant yet.
As for the Angels I can see them going on a "witch hunt" for demons and just start killing everyone who's not an angel if given reason to. Avacyn is obviously worried about whatever it is and if Sorin is there he's gonna be pretty pissed to though he may not even know what it was coming from a time where innistrads biggest problems were food shortages.

I think if she were a creature to walker transform planeswalker they would represent her before and after she became a planeswalker which I think they wouldn't do. I'm leaning on the side of Garruk Relentless Flip I could see G/W in her human state and R/W in her transformed state. That would be super cool. Although I'm selfish and want her to be Playable in modern Jund and replace Huntmaster of the Fells Flip and just be R/G.
March 3, 2016 9:21 a.m.
@shinobigarth, that seems unlikely. Werewolves typically transform back and forth. It's not like she stops being a planeswalker when she reverts back to human form.

It should be noted that the spoiled Checklist has a card number of CH1/297
Original Innistrad checklist cards had no number, and Origins checklist was 000/272
It could be that CH1 is used due to there being a CH2, CH3...
Perhaps a different 'CH#' for each rarity level? (rares an Mythics would probably be on the same card)
After all, the names of the cards on the spoiled list all seem like they could easily be commons.
Just a thought.

I think that there might be more than one checklist with rares, mythics, and uncommons. Arlin Kord not listed on the CH1 makes me believe this also otherwise she will not be a flip walker or be in this set.

So the title of this UR was supposed to be "Under the Sliver Moon" right?? :P

sonnet666 no you cast her on her walker side, she is then a Planeswalker - Arlinn. one of her abilities causes her to flip into a legendary werewolf creature. they could have her be a Planeswalker Creature possibly (if the rules allows for a walker to have a creature card frame), or just say "~ can be targeted by anything that can target a planeswalker" to represent the fact that she is still a walker while in creature form.
otherwise its just a wasted opportunity to make her a werewolf in the flavor and then just have her be a boring ol normal walker, on a plane that debuted the entire transforming mechanic.
March 4, 2016 1:02 a.m. Edited.
The Planeswalker profile page had said that her first Planeswalk occurred during wolf form, so why would they make her wolf side a creature?
The rules do not really support planeswalker creatures outside of temporary effects like Gideon Jura and Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker (damage still causes them to lose loyalty if they have the PW type, so it doesn't play well), and what you said with targeting sounds super confusing. In fact just having a planeswalker with a creature frame sounds like something Wizards is never, ever going to do.
And they can make a double faced planeswalker, Garruk Relentless Flip...
Arlinn is probably going to function similarly, just with the ability to transform back to her front, human, face.

all I'm saying is she needs to have some way to tear stuff up in werewolf form, maybe the way Gideon turns into a creature. i never said she wouldn't be able to turn back to her walker/human side, were she to become a creature. loyalty counters don't just disappear when a planeswalker is a creature, they just don't do anything. but perhaps a Gideon creature-mode ability for her on her werewolf side.
