I think most of the old Magic lore is in novels, Nemesis.

I thought the article was fine. It was well-written, but I was lacking in understandung for most of it because the Weatherlight saga was before my time.

Nemesis, TheManaSource has a pretty good series on old magic lore, starting from the very begining.

There's also a torrent of like, the whole weatherlight saga floating around somewhere.

Plus some of the Planeswalker novels.

I liked the fact that the story was set on Mercadia, a plane that has not been seen or mentioned in the game for quite some time, but I did not find it to be particularly exciting, apart from that.

I was not yet playing the game at the time of the Mercadian Masques block, so did this story appear to be set before or after it?

Next week, the story shall return to Innistrad; I do wish that there had been more stories relating to Eternal Masters, but at lest there were some, at all.
