Where are we at with Zendikar?

Battle for Zendikar is confirmed now, and clearly (from the spoiled art) Gideon will be battling the Eldrazi. Someone on here mentioned that Kozilek and Emrakul left the plane. Is this true? What has been happening on Zendikar up until this point?
Basically I want to know the story line for Zendikar. If anyone knows of any sites where I can just look up the information I seek, that would also be very helpful. I would love to find some site thats got all of MTG's story. Flavor-wise, this new set looks extremely cool.
Tell me a bedtime story. Thanks for looking!

@vampirelazarus An apt description, considering last time we were on zendikar, the design team was high as balls.

Continuing from WicKid52's post...
The Eldrazi began to feast upon Zendikar, sucking up all of its mana and life force. Planeswalkers fled Zendikar seeking help to stop the Eldrazi before they could devour more planes. Gideon went to Ravnica to get help from the Boros. Kiora (whose home plane is Zendikar) went to Theros to get help from the massive sea monsters. Sorin searched desperately for Nahiri to no avail and eventually went to Tarkir in search of Ugin (since the three of them were the ones who originally sealed the Eldrazi). Ugin is now alive thanks to Sarkhan traveling back in time (I don't think we'll see any more of Sarkhan for a long time since his story is completed). Nicol Bolas was the one who planed the Eldrazi's release and is the one who had previously killed Ugin in a now non-existent timeline, so we may see more of him once he finds out that Ugin is still alive.
As far as I know, Jace has no desire to aid Zendikar and I have no idea what Chandra is doing. I think Nissa is still on Zendikar but I'm not entirely sure.
Since we left the Zendikar block, Emrakul has left the plane in search of other worlds to devour. I believe Ulamog and Kozilek are still on Zendikar.
In Battle for Zendikar, I theorize that the plane will be vastly different from how it was in the original Zendikar block. Instead of landfall, man-lands, and several methods of mana ramping (all symbolic of a world that is very much alive), I believe the plane will resemble more of a barren wasteland with small pockets of resistance. There will probably be a heavier emphasis on colorless mechanics.
I hope this post gave you some insight on where we stand in Zendikar's lore :)

Ooh, and Ob Nixilis is back. He might get a new card, or even a new PW if he manages to regain his spark.

It makes sense to hope for a new ob nixilis planeswalker. There could be something in the story about regaining his spark because the world is weakened (or maybe another character finds his spark at inherits it themselves. Doubtful on that, but they haven't played with the idea of a physical representation of a spark).
The Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath is Ob before he lost his spark, so I think it's fair game.

Uncharted Realms on the MTG site will have story. TheManaSource on youtube also has weekly lore videos, but as for the Eldrazi and Zendikar:
The Eldrazi are ancient beings birthed into existence before colored mana existed, in the Blind Eternities, the spaces between planes. Sorin, Nahiri, and Ugin recognized the danger that they posed and sealed them inside Zendikar using the hedrons. The Eldrazi's presense caused the plane to be both mana-abundant and extremely volatile. The three planeswalkers had accidentally made the hedrons such that any three planeswalkers together could free the eldrazi. Knowing this, Nicol Bolas (evil dragon guy) steered Sarkhan towards Zendikar, as Jace and Chandra chased each other all over the multiverse, finally ending up at zendikar. The three walkers together accidentally activated the hedrons, and boom.
