Will There Ever Be an Interplanar Communication Device?

WotC seems to be adamant about allowing planeswalkers to be the only beings who can travel from one plane in the multiverse to another (apart from rare exceptions, such as the Eldrazi or the planar bridge), but I see no reason why there could not be an interplanar communication device (like this game’s equivalent of a radio or telephone), which would certainly be a major occurrence, akin to how the invention of the telephone was a major occurrence in actuality. That would allow non-planeswalkers to have the opportunity to interact with beings from other planes and learn about them, although that may also disrupt WotC’s portrayal of each plane as its own self-contained universe. Rashmi’s planar bridge can transport inorganic matter, but not organic matter (which I feel is a very arbitrary restriction in a game that has the word “magic” in its name), so it is perfectly reasonable to presume that it can convey information, as well.
What does everyone else think of this? Will this game ever have interplanar communication devices?

I think with the events after War of the Spark ending how they did multi planar travel could become something that actually becomes more spread out.
Rashmi had actually peered into another plane while experimenting with her invention, the Planar Bridge so its not like the technology is impossible to make on Kaladesh.
Then you have the fact that a Planar Bridge was used to get onto Ravnica. The Izzet League will probably find this to be intriguing and with Niv-Mizzet being the new guild pact their could very well be some experiments into multi planar travel/communication.
If we are talking realistically multi-planar travel would probably become a thing on Ravnica/Kaladesh in a decade or less, but since WOTC does like to keep that sort of thing only in the realm of Planeswalkers.
