Wizards' Tower lore

I'm almost positive there is no real lore based on it, but has anyone made the effort to think of possible lore for this play-style? My assumption so far is that the Tower is a planeswalking TARDIS-like monument+entity containing a sort of gymnasium for training purposes, and a library/its own self-aware memory of spells and its own mana bonds and from time to time mages have stumbled upon it on their own plane and took to learning what they could from the tower and proceed to do battle with the spells and magic they have learned; for sport.

I'd imagine it more like a mana locus in the middle of Dominaria (the center of the multiverse) that has drawn in the energies of various spells and beings from all over. And then someone built a tower on it.

Along the lines of Manalith ?

Yeah, like a combination of Manalith and Command Tower with Training Grounds involved somehow.

But if it's akin to Manalith , why does it contain different mana bonds? (land cards) and if on Dominaria, why do you think its contents are always different?

Because Dominaria is literally the center of the Multiverse. All other planes have some from of connection to it. And Manalith is a monument that combines the power of all types of lands. You can even see some in the background.

However, I do like the comparison to Manalith , Command Tower , and Training Grounds ., it seems it is always changing, while I understand Dominaria makes a touch of sense, is it so believable that all the "Playerwalkers" are on/from Dominaria?
