Modern Deck Help forum

This is the Modern-specific advertise-your-deck thread!
Here are the rules:
- You may link one of your decks in each of your posts. Do not list more than one deck per post.
- When you post, you must offer feedback on the deck posted immediately before yours (leave the feedback on that deck's page). This feedback needs to be genuine; "Cool deck" replies don't count. Try to be as helpful as possible.
- You may not post another deck in this thread again until a week after your previous deck post (by the day, not the exact minute). This is to make sure that other participants have a fair chance of getting some attention.
- Do not post unrelated comments in this thread. Leave the deck discussion on the deck pages. Additionally, don't comment just to subscribe to this thread. Use the subscribe button at the bottom of the page.
- This thread is stickied and does not expire.
When you share one of your decks, you should offer some information about what you want it to do, what specifically you think you need help with, etc. The more information you give people about your deck, the better the help you're likely to receive.
You're also encouraged to use the deck-large format to make your decks more visible:
[[deck-large:Dominus-Dreamcrusher Edition]]
While you're here, check out these recommendations for other ways to get views on your deck.
If you're feeling up to it, you can also try to write a primer for your deck.

This Is my Take on Modern Ninjas. I am Specifically looking for better Sideboard options and recomendations to be a touch more Competitive. willing to invest some money within reason.

after getting punched in the face over and over and over again by control every week, I decided to fight back with this G/W Bogles deck idea. It's pretty standard with the card choices, but I would like to know if there is anything I can add to make it better. I'm really concerned with my sideboard.
Also just a heads up Horizon Canopys are out of the question because of cost.
You just boggled my mind

Hey everyone! i am just finishing the mainboard for my polymorph deck, so i am moving over to the sideboard. i would like a way to make the deck itself transform to a more general control deck, then winning with Wurmcoil Engine. it would need to happen for matches like burn that i really don't have a chance against. something like AJ Sacher did an the 2010 extended worlds. here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6-t7uQPe6k

Good evening fellow deck builders... =)
It's been a week and i really got good advice for my other decklist, so here i thought why not try with another one.
It's a "Grixis" Burn variant with a little twist to help keep the hand always full with burn spells. If you have thoughts an the list, critique, anything...please leave it there. I'm currently looking to really sharpen my modern decks to get out and dash hopes!

The last few posts were accidental. sorry, having to do the tutorial. My mono green experimental modern deck is this:4 Den Protector4 Managorger Hydra4 Hardened Scales4 Eldritch Evolution4 Avatar of the Resolute4 Deathmist Raptor4 Sylvan Caryatid4 Undergrowth Champion4 Verdurous Gearhulk4 Nissa, Voice of ZendikarYes its a four of, yes I'm a noob for not including rancor, and most likely a load of other things, but to be honest I last played competitive in original mirrodin with affinity and wasn't great then, but made this deck because, well, I usually just play casual, and most of the time just make decks that get traded in due to boredom and not having much time to play, but I guessed that get a load of good, to the beholders eye anyhow, cards and just stack it up. Any advise will be taken on bard but I want to game with this in its current state once before I would make any changes, just to feel the pain of defeat for using my own ideas rather than netdecking it, which I have nothing against because otherwise I wouldn't be posting anything here.thanks in advance :)

I'm still rather new to modern only having gone to 3 previous Fnm events for modern and I just borrowed a mono green stompy deck using cards like Leatherback Baloth, Aspect of Hydra, etc.
I now have started my own deck that currently is intended to be budget for infect, and I'm just looking for suggestions on what I could improve on for it. I will be using it 2 weeks from now for modern I just have to try to get the last few cards in time. I still need the 4x Gitaxian Probes and Might of Old Krosa's. However I'm getting 2 of the probes in a trade and I will be selling a Sword of Feast and Famine Kaladesh invention to buy the rest of what I need.

Eventually my goal is to make it U/G later when I get all of the fetchlands, Noble Hierarch's and such.
I'm just wondering what are some of the first upgrades I should make to it, such as acquiring Inkmoth Nexus first, and then the Pendelhavens, then the spellskites or what?

Hey everybody!
I've always wanted to play Jund in Modern and I'm working on building a deck. I have a list that I think is the core of the Jund midrange archetype, and I'm looking for advice on:
How to fill out the flex spots;
How to fine-tune the manabase. I'm never sure how much of what I need;
Which finisher to use. There are three I'm considering;
Which one-of planeswalker fits with the deck. Or maybe more than one. Who knows?
Whether or not to play Courser of Kruphix, and then how to fit it into the deck;
Constructing a sideboard. Also, how to sideboard for specific matchups.
A kind comment from this great community is always appreciated!
Thanks guys!

Hi again all =)
This time i have a very specific request of help for all of us here:I'll play in a GPQ at my LGS this weekend and i kinda have to turn into an Impromptu Raid xD
The following is the list i wanted to bring, since i think the meta is more suited for Infect than for Bant Control. Now i wonder, if i should squeeze in an Overgrown Tomb in the mana base for some black sideboard options, like discard? I already have a interesting card mainboard, that could be casted of it (Postmortem Lunge) although the black source isnt really neccessary otherwise.

I need help on my deck. It's supposed to ramp quickly into Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger via Eldritch Evolution and emerge. The problem is I don't know very good ramp spells, because I never play green. I need tons of help on the sideboard. My meta is mainly red burn, life gain, and affinity. Help is highly appreciated, but I don't have money for any Damnations. I'm trying to keep the deck under 200, so nothing too expensive.

I've been playing a lot of Death and Taxes in Legacy of late, which inspired me to see how the deck archetype performs in modern. However, I wanted to play the deck independently of the extra colors of the BW Eldrazi and the GW variantsstrip the deck down to its mono-white self. I'm curious what people think of this list.

Hey All,
I am fairly new to MTG and I just out together this deck based on some of the eldrazi and taxes stuff I've seen floating arround. I cant wait to play an AEther Vial deck, They look so fun. I have up untill now been playing a white splash red humans deck that was built on a budget. I have really enjoyed the aspect of trigers that pump as more humans come into play.
Anyway, I am interested in making this heatbears deck as competitive as possible so let me know what you think! Any thoughts are much appreciated...
Thanks!

Zombie/shapeshifter tribal deck built around Haakon, Stromgald Scourge to play changeling instants from the grave and play buffed up Zombies. Good against other creature based and tribal decks, bad against non-creature strategies. Abuse the changeling spells to play tribal dual lands untapped and trigger zombie stuff.
Low budget and very fun. Decently strong in fair matches but not very competitive. A nice deck for casual online play.

This is a ridiculously janky build. It actually doesn't do terrible in most matchups, but it's very reliant on getting the mainboard hate cards to do anything other than play catch-up. Currently looking for cards to cut to make room for mainboard Ghost Quarters. Also looking for general feedback and/or cards I may have missed. Thanks in advance!
