Avalanche Riders can replace Fulminator Mage in most situations.

If you're not playing a full set of Fulminator Mage then you definitely want four Beast Within mainboard. You want to absolutely shit all over Tron and neuter decks with fragile mana bases (like Junk). Beast Within also gives you a target for Demonic Dread.

This can even happen as early as turn three if you cycled multiple Street Wraiths and another guy on turn one -> turn two Simian Spirit Guide -> Beast Within your opponent's land at the end of their turn -> turn three Demonic Dread/Violent Outburst.

That leaves your opponent staring at multiple 3 power guys with only one land in play and no creatures. This is why Fulminator Mage is played as a four-of in the deck: cripple your opponent's mana base so they can't boardwipe after Living End resolves.

So there are few cards I picked up when putting together my own Living End deck, and one of them is a huuuuuge game changer, that I feel could be incorporated into the decks that are "money."

Kitchen Finks: Although this card may not be considered budget right now or anymore, I got two a while back and started using them. It's castable as a creature, it allows you to gain life, is safer to Liliana, and other forced sacs, makes the match with Burn decks smoother. I run two of them.

Fleshbag Marauder / Merciless Executioner: These cards are pretty much the same, and I run one of each just to play around something like Surgical Extraction, it's minor, but if you have the capacity to play around something, you're better off doing it. What this guy does in a world with a lot of big black creatures, where Shriekmaw falls short (I still run 1 main), is get rid of opponent's dude, AND you are likely sacrificing it to it's own ability. With this guy in our yard, it makes getting Living End more safe as we displace our opponent's board while making sure theirs stay in the yard.

Bow of Nylea: This card does a lot, I only have it as a one-of but it does a lot. Setting up to be able to Living End more often with the last mode, is amazing...While also possibly using the other modes in the long games.

And now the Game Changer!

Mogis's Marauder: This great card coupled with things like Street Wraith giving all the dudes in the yard that we Living End back out, Haste and Intimidate just ends games. Like, hold onto your pants!
