Is this card good enough?

Modern Deck Help forum

Krosan Cloudscraper , i wanted to play it in my blink deck but in modern they can destroy it with almost any removal. I drop this 13/13 by turn 4 morphing it and then Cloudshift on it. Do you think this card is worth it ?

No, it is not good, but not because of removal, but chump blocking. That thing has no evasion and can be chumped by anything.

The best morph targets to cloudshift are Akroma, Angel of Fury and Sagu Mauler . One has evasion and dodges most removal, while the other has straight up hexproof and trample.

For more cool ideas on this type of deck, check out Azorious MORPHine trip, ProcEspers and Budget Acid Trip - flicker is one of my favorite archetypes.

I will give Krosan Cloudscraper a try , because i wanted to splash Green for things like Thragtusk , Wood Elves (everything in proxies) but krosan could be very good with a rancor on it

The problem is that this requires 3 cards, 7 mana (you have to pay GG to not sacrifice it every turn) and it can attack earlist on turn 5 without ramp. And even if you deal with the lack of evasion problem, the "vulnerable to most removal" still remains.

Green really offers little to the deal of blinking - Thragtusk , Mystic Snake and Eternal Witness are your best options, but there are much better ones in UW and black offers a few as well too.

with the amount of effort you're putting into that vanilla beater, it'd be easier and more effective to just Through the Breach into Emrakul, the Aeons Torn .

Primeval Titan and Grave Titan seem like pretty good targets if you want to flicker creatures.

Also this might just be biased because the list has been near and dear to my heart since 2006, but have you considered Blink Riders? Jeskai land destruction with Avalanche Riders
