Mill combo deck?

I made my first Modern deck a while back. It was a -1/-1 counters deck. Someone pointed out that Necrotic Ooze was the way to go for a more consistent combo, and he was right. I have a playable deck now. Thing is, how do I make it more consistent and fast?
