Monastery Mentor is not doing what I thought he would.

Like the title says he is good and if he lives it great but by turn 3 other decks r just holding mana back and will counter him or just kill him and I tapped out.

So the question is what can I replace him with?

I like the white for Deflecting Palm Leyline of Sanctity Boros Charm and Lightning Helix so white is staying for know.

I agree. That's solid. Playtest and see if you need the bigger threat.

Monastery Mentor is too slow for a deck like Delver. His true home is midrange, where he's just a tool in the toolbox as opposed to bearing the burden of your hopes and dreams.
