The Rakdos Clan needs your Help
Modern Deck Help forum

Rakdos, my favorite clan. I don't know if it's the mayhem or it's just the fact that it's not supposed to be the best, but it always spoke to me on a personal level.
I always wanted to create a deck that would stand up to top tier decks, but that's why I am asking for help. I am not much of a modern player and I would like some tips on how to combat the things that are more difficult to get rid of or just fast decks in general.
If you have any suggestions, feel free to post them. I am always looking for ways to improve the deck

I used to run a rakdos mono black devotion deck for funsies. Sadly 4x Phyrexian Obliterator is like a must

Mostly stuff like Lightning Bolt Terminate and the like though i kinda consider Kolaghan's Command to be a staple of anything RB though that could be wrong. Other good stuff included like Bloodghast ...can't really remember what else. I imagine an aggressive deck with some removal could work. Top your curve with the demon but only play like 2 of them and play 4 Obliterator and a bunch of nice resilient threats with maybe a single Profane Command or something?

It's a crazy thing to brew for sure. Very similar to what the archenemy deck looked like when i first started really playing the game haha

hey man i had a look at your deck then posted my comment there, but vampire tribal similar to the zendikar list in addition to falkenrath with kologhans command and bloodsoaked champion makes a solid aggro deck with plenty of hand attack and removal.

@Hawko0313 Don't get me wrong, I love vampires, but I feel that they have been done to death. I might create one later on, but for now I'd rather go with something different.
Now I'm liking the deck the way it is, but now I might need help on the sideboard. I've never been great at creating a viable sideboard against certain decks.
Can anyone help with that?
