Tuning Jund to Fight Big-Mana and Linear Strategies

Modern Deck Help forum

Looking for a bit of help/second opinion on my Madcap Jund list featuring Platinum Emperion as my anti-combo/linear strategy tech of choice. It also happens to be a pretty beefy beat stick against the big-mana decks, along with Tarmogoyf.

Here is the deck: https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/madcap-jund-1/

Deck feels really solid so far. I’ve played it at a few FNMs with great results and managed to beat a lot of random decks on this site by playing myself using the playtest feature with 2 tabs open.

I mostly want some help tweaking the numbers of specific cards in the deck because I’m biased towards some of my pet cards like Grim Flayer, but I’m trying to get past my biases and make sure the deck is as optimal as possible. (Not that Grim Flayer has been bad though. 1 copy has felt pretty good so far.)

Edit: Sorry, still trying to learn the formatting on this site.

I’ll try to post an actual deck link: Madcap Jund
