Stop saying there were only 2 Eldrazi decks in the top 8. There were 3.
Give Frank Lepore and his MTGO tested deck some credit god dammit!

Here's the deal, let's start a discussion about it, as far as explosiveness, the colorless Eldrazi deck takes the cake. As far as consistency and resiliency, UR Eldrazi wins on that front, plus it has more options of cards to utilize. As far as synergy and overall power, Lepore's processor Eldrazi probably takes that category. All I know, I either want to be the player running the more consistent deck (UR Eldrazi) or be the more explosive deck (Colorless Eldrazi). Colorless eldrazi does have potential to turn 1 Reality Smasher, which is hard to beat turn 1, and in my mind, probably thee best eldrazi being run in those decks with Thought-Knot Seer a very close second.

It can (colorless eldrazi) follow the smasher up with Chalice of the Void to stop the opponent drawing into Path to Exile etc.
But yeah like generally T1 Eldrazi Mimic into another Eldrazi Mimic followed by T2 3 or 4 power is just silly. On T3 they can then easily play Reality Smasher and swing for huge amounts. GG.

the Simian Spirit Guide+Chalice of the Void those eldrazi decks run is pretty powerful, if you play first you can completely shut down burn or affinity on turn 1 and protects you from stuff like Thoughtseize and Path to Exile most decks love to run.
Hell, the best hand you can have against affinity is 2 chalices, 1 guide and 1 land with you being first, at turn 1 they no longer can cast half their deck.

SSG speeds up the decks by a solid turn, which is quite frankly not acceptable.
The CFB full colorless looks to me to be the best, but UR has a better high end. I don't like Lepore's list, and I don't think that's the most optimal flavour of eldrazi.

Simian guide is a gamble, on turn 1, with the right cards in hand, sure, it pays off, on turn 5 not so much.

Deck topdecks well though because Endless One and Reality Smasher are both huge.

How do you turn 1 a Reality Smasher? Eldrazi Temple and 3x Simian Spirit Guide?

@APPLE01DOJ Ya, that's a pretty rare hand though.

Turn one Thought-Knot Seer is also quite stupid taking their removal spell for it or the card they need the most. The deck is bahh-rokkkennn. Turn one Reality Smasher says you need to answer me now or you die and also taxes your opponents hand for trying to kill it. It would have to be temple, 3 simian spirit guides, reality smasher and 2 other cards. going down to two cards opening hand for one card is pretty ballsy in my opinion but the your not likely going to kill it until turn 2 and by then you've taken 10 damage already or more if they haven't chaliced at 1 or 2. Geez. As a Jund player I'm struggling to find efficient answers to this deck mainboard besides ghost quarter, Fulm Mage, terminate, thoughseize. The colorless eldrazi deck will be sticking around for the long haul.

Golgari Charm Darkblast and Bile Blight might be effective early game answers if you're on the play.
