Aether Revolt Spoiler: New modern staple?

Hey guys!
So, this just got spoiled on MythicSpoiler:
Trophy Mage
Creature - Human Wizard (Uncommon)
When Trophy Mage enters the battlefield, you may search your library for an artifact card with converted mana cost 3, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library.
2/2
Are we looking at a new modern staple? Three mana artifacts are fairly common. Immediately, I thought of the swords... would this facilitate the introduction of a Stoneblade-like deck in Modern?
What else do you think this card could do, or is it even modern-viable?
I like this one more
All creatures get -3/-3 until end of turn.
You may cast a card with converted mana cost 3 or less from your hand without paying its mana cost.
It lets you cast suspend cards like Ancestral Vision and Restore Balance

The good targets for this card are Swords and Ensnaring Bridge. It's probably too slow to play in Lantern, and Swords aren't very popular.

Yahenni's Expertise looks good. A four mana wrath to kill most small dudes, and a free spell. Probably a creature or something that you didnt cast into your wrath. Probably not super modern playable though, but free spells are nice.

Yahenni's Expertise into a free Liliana of the Veil or Blood Moon. I'll take that all day.
As for the card in question I can imagine it in a Bant deck.
T1 Noble Hierarch T2 tutor T3 Sigarda's Aid Sword of Fire and Ice or X & Y equipped to the tutor swinging with exalt.

Yaheeni's expertise seems huge for living end decks.

The opponent gets back everything that got killed tho :)

Holy shit that mini-Languish is insane...like "why is Bloodbraid Elf still banned?" levels of insane.
I wonder if it's going to be a recurring theme in Revolt?
Edit:
Scrap Trawler
Artifact Creature - Construct
3/2
Whenever Scrap Trawler or another artifact you control is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, return to your hand target artifact card in your graveyard with lesser converted mana cost.
This is also pretty ridiculous. Seems like it'd be really good in Eggs.

This card will be fine in EDH and casual decks, maybe it will be a Mono-U torn type card next to/replacingTrinket Mage but beyond that I have a hard time imagining any other deck it slots into.
Yahenni's Expertise on the other hand WILL see modern play. The possiblilities of what you can cast for free are endless. Blood Moon, Liliana of the Veil, Ancestral Vision, Boom or one of my favorites in Thalia, Heretic Cathar putting the opponent WAY back. Yes. This card will see play. The Mage? Probably not.

Holy crap as wotc lost their minds? Baby languish needs pretty powerful.
Scrap tawler is sweet. I wants it!

smackjack yes, but all creatures have -3/-3 till end of turn. Anything that died to expertise would die to it again. Living end'a creatures, on the other hand, could easily survive that debuf.
Granted worst case-scenario you are giving your opponent a rhino/goyf/kalitas or more back, but that was always a risk with living end anyway.

re: Trophy Mage - see i read that as 2U --> tutor up exactly the right color of sword i need.that has to be pretty good. especially in something akin to caw blade.

DuTogira Unless I'm misunderstanding you, I think you're confused as to how cards like Languish and this new card work. It only affects creatures on the battlefield at the time of its resolution. Any creatures that would enter the battlefield afterwards, even the same creatures reanimated, would be considered new objects and unaffected.

DuTogira, you seem confused as to how cards that give a buff/debuff until end of turn operate.
611.2c If a continuous effect generated by the resolution of a spell or ability modifies the characteristics or changes the controller of any objects, the set of objects it affects is determined when that continuous effect begins. After that point, the set wont change.
400.7. An object that moves from one zone to another becomes a new object with no memory of, or relation to, its previous existence.

Well, it's Trinket Mage's big sister. It may see play.
I love the mini-languish. Like, love it. This could easily be seen in Esper or Sultai control lists, (thopter gifts, anyone?).

If you were to cast a cascade spell with the mini-languish, would cascade still trigger? (thinking about shardless)

That would be great value. 4 Mana for a boardwipe, a 3/2 body and a mysterie spell.

Scrap Trawler is weird for eggs, bc it mostly runs 2 drop artifacts.
Trophy Mage is kinda sick for lantern, but idk if they need it.
Yaheeni's Expertise is very good. If this card doesn't see play anywhere I will be surprised. Especially in delirium kind where basically every creature they play on turn 2 survives

I do not think this is good enough for Modern. Whereas Stoneforge Mystic was able to tutor it up and put the artifact - equipment into play at a reduced cost is why it made it busted for modern. This new card only tutors for it and is rather specific to CMC, so it is rather slow and a 2/2 body is not great at all in the meta full of other 2/2's and bigger bodies. I don't think it will see much play past standard and it will become somewhat of a staple in EDH decks. Especially Sharoom.
