Any Black cards Modern worthy?

Looking at M14, I'm pretty disappointed but im still a scrub so there is a high chance what's really good, I just am not able to recognize yet.

I can see Dark Prophecy being good in a sacrifice type deck, but I don't know enough about the modern format to even say if that's relevant. Pretty sure it's going to see significant play in standard.

doubt it. Phyrexian Arena & Dark Confidant already feel that roll and under better circumstances. I use Grave Pact in my sacrifice deck for the "whenever a creature..." aspect with much better reward.

Dark Prophecy binds you to mono black there for not good

Doom Blade is probably the closest to modern playable than any of the other black cards in M14.

Lifebane Zombie looks like it could be really good against Jund or Soul Sisters.

so i preordered a box before the online leaks. lol. opening some of it today, seems like black wouldn't even be playable in M14. way too slow & weak. white looks overpowered. green got some nice additions.

Swamp the only m14 card worth talking about for black...
Doom Blade was down graded to uncommon, making it questionable to use and dirty, if you must use an older copy so your deck is not tainted by m14 madness, and Duress is a poor mans Thoughtseize

Duress is the only black card from m14 that is any good. And yes it's been available for a while.
