So does anyone else think this will be a bomb in Modern? I do. It stops Twin decks, as well as aggressive strategies, and helps your creatures push through. For 4 mana, a flying blocker, as well as an attacker, evades bolts. It passes the test in my book. Thoughts? I also just love angels. Juss sayin'

It depends, Against GBx it's decent.
All the combo decks its terrible.
Relying on a 4 mana card to stop Twins combo plays into their primary win con.

Twin decks can't attack after they make people. They wont have any mana to tap to attack.

Oh I see what you mean, because they would tap the Angel. Well id you cloudshift it, or protect it from.being tapped, it stops the combo wombo.

@BryanAnthony Here, I'll put the relevant line of text below.
"As long as Archangel of Tithes is untapped, creatures can't attack you or a planeswalker you control unless their controller pays 1 for each of those creatures."
So they generate infinite tokens, then they end with a single Deceiver Exarch trigger. They use that to tap down Archangel of Tithes, which means that it isn't untapped. So it doesn't stop Twin at all. Ghostly Prison is what you need for the effect you are asking for.

Ninja'd. Anyways, if you tap out on turn 4 for an Archangel of Tithes, you won't have mana open for the tricks. It's a good card, but it doesn't do anything against Twin by itself.

Sorry, APPLE01DOJ, but bijschjdbcd is right... no Twisted Image in Twin. Grixis just K-Commands it, and UR/RUG Twin has Ancient Grudge.

Umm who cares. I'm not offended by being wrong or people disagreeing mtgtop8 says twin hasn't ran it since 2014.

It doesn't stop Twin decks, they simply tap it with the last Deceiver Exarch trigger and then attack through for lethal.
It's still pretty great, and I think we will be seeing more Combust instead of Rending Volley because of it. I really hope that G/W Hatebears will become more popular because of it.
