Within wr?

No, Blue has the card advantage side of the colour pie.

Red has card advantage but usually with a downside, Like Humble Defector.

Chandra, Pyromaster is the closest thing really.

For red no, unless you can handle random or discarding - Faithless Looting, Dangerous Wager, etc.

For white, you need permanents to draw - Mentor of the Meek, Puresteel Paladin, etc. Otherwise you get bad cantrips like Withstand.

W and G and tertiary in pure card draw, if I am not mistaken.

If your opponent is smart they will realise that Drawing three cards is wprse than 5 damage...

No I'm brewing a boros control deck coz blue stuff is expensive for a colour not seeing much play

That's hardly an accurate way to access a card that has been at a relatively stable price even though it didn't suite the meta.

The linked deck was listed as Legacy?

Personally White Moon is a good way to go, I believe Jeff Hoogland has a list somewhere.

Marsh control is the way to go. How are you going to deal with those decks that have 10 copies of goyf (goyf, lightning helix goyf, and I-cost-less-mana-than-goyf) with only path to exile?

I was going to say... Marsh control is a new one.

I thought youd meant BW control Chief, after Marsh Flats was interested to see what kind of list you had lol

i have 8 copies of path to exile because Chained to the Rocks in a deck running mountains and bloodmoon is effectively a thing

I didn't realize that Boros was a viable control shell.....control is pretty much best left to blue because it has the best counters and draw, not to mention Supreme Verdict.

if a green white control deck work in legacy i'm sure boros can do some work in modern :P

Uhh Abrupt Decay and any enchantment destruction argues with your assessment of chained being path to exile......

February 18, 2015 11:03 a.m.

What GW deck is control in legacy? Are you talking about hatebears or Maverick?

February 18, 2015 11:05 a.m.

tyforthevenom says... #21

no Enchantress, technically it's a prison deck but it's a form of control that really hates anything black and has a pillow fort vs burn and creature aggro while struggling vs unfair decks

Draw, then discard at random: Burning Inquiry, Desperate Ravings, Goblin Lore

Discard hand, then draw: Dangerous Wager, Molten Psyche, Reforge the Soul

Discard, then draw: Tormenting Voice, Wild Guess

There's also Faithless Looting and Browbeat.

bell, it acts as path 4-8 but i know it's not as strong still buys you enough time to get advantage plus you got bolt helix flame slash bla bla bla bla bla bla bla
