Artifact removal

Modern forum

Hi! I was thinking about constructing an affinity deck, to try out it's playstyle. The similiar topdecks all seem kind of fragile because there is alot of artifact removal availible. Can you guys tell me what the best artifact removal spells are in modern atm? And wich ones are used the most? Thanks :D!

I guess Qasali Pridemage is another.

Beware games 2 and 3. That's when the big removal, Shattering Spree, Creeping Corrosion, and Shatterstorm, are sided in. One blow from them is pretty much GG when you're playing Affinity.

Fracturing Gust might also be good to be aware of.

Destructive Revelry and Ancient Grudge are more commonly what you have to worry about. however, if your local meta has a lot of mass artifact removal you can side Hurkyl's Recall. In response to them using mass removal you can "recall" all your artifacts to your hand and then because your affinity just vomit them back out again. It's also great in the mirror.

Kolaghan's Command

Serious pluses in this one. Even a double minus

It isn't removal per se, but Stony Silence is terrifying for affinity.

I'm going to agree and say that I see potential in Kolaghan's Command.

But the main ones are Stony Silence, Ancient Grudge and Shatterstorm/Creeping Corrosion.
