Which does better in tournaments?

Hexproof/boggles seems to do well consistently.

Infect all depends on the day. Some days you'll kill t2 all day long other days you won't win a match.

They are both meta calls, tom Ross pilots infect very well and when the mets is good he wins with it. Boggles is fast but it's more frail. That being said, while infect has more wins. Boggles has more top 8

Which does better against the increasingly popular UR burn + Treasure Cruise decks?

Auras is better against UR Delver for sure. If you resolve one lifelink enchantment on a dude you pretty much auto-win that matchup.

The problem is, the UR player will be familiar with Daybreak Coronet and Unflinching Courage and will save his counterspells for these auras. I know that "this spell can be countered so it's not good" is a BAD argument, but the lifelink auras are so important to boggles strategy that most good players play around them. The chances of the UR player having a either a counterspell or Skullcrack in hand is pretty high.

I agree, in the current UR Delver format Bogles in the better deck between the two.

Bogles has had to play against counterspells, that's nothing new. That they run them doesn't change the fact that you've got literal "I Win" cards in the deck. They still have to have them in hand - and Remand doesn't really count, and you get to play around them to some degree as well. If you stick a lifelink enchantment the game is all but over.

Infect on the other hand absolutely doesn't want to play against a deck with a ton of cheap interaction. And lots of chump blocks.

However, they are both pretty soft to the Jeskai Ascendancy combo.

I play infect and every time I've played against against a boggle deck I've won

bogles is very well positioned right now. Infect is very poorly positioned. The meta is really bolt heavy at the moment.

I'd say Hexproof, because while it is weak against non target spells, like Pyroclasm on T2, or board wipes, Infect dies to basically every removal spell. A well timed Lightning Bolt will always get the job done.

JexInfinite While true, I do think that that is selling infect a little short.

The last modern GP a few months ago saw 2 infect decks in the top 8, grinding out 15+ rounds proves there is some play to the deck. From my experience, Infect is quite resilient to a even a "well timed" Lightning Bolt. What really does that deck in though is volume of cheap interaction. It's not Lightning Bolt that gets them, it's that backed up with Path to Exile, Spell Pierce, blockers, etc.

Everybody sells it short. Even the people who play it.

Bogles is better-positioned, as people have said. Lifelink is very good.
