So I just saw that Avatar of Woe was timeshifted meaning she's Modern legal and now I want to use her in a deck. Thoughts? Ideas? Opinions? Anyone have experience using her in the format?
Well with some mill + Surgical Extraction and/or Extirpate, she may even survive.
And as an added bonus these two spells have a great potential to mana flood your opponent (thanks to exiling a lot of non-lands from the library)
She probably could go in mill decks as a sideboard card, against creature heavy deck - but then is it really necessary, or just win more?

I'm thinking of using her in a sideboard for a weenie deck against other creature heavy decks.

Avatar of Woe is a very conditional card. You cannot rely on your opponents having creatures in their yard (or in their library even, thinking of control), and you almost certainly aren't casting her unless you get the cost reduction.
My only thought is a self-mill/dredge deck, although even then she isn't entirely needed. Unfortunately despite the body and incredible active, she's just going to eat Path/Terminate/etc. against most decks. I would recommend trying a stock dredge list and running 1- or 2-of her and see where that takes you.
