Basic Lands of Modern Burn

Blood Moon is really good in Modern right now. One of the decks that most people don't think about when discussing Blood Moon is Burn.... specifically the competitive Naya version. When BM hits the table it:
- Shrinks Wild Nacatl
- Strands all non-red spells in hand. Ex: Boros Charm
No, it's really not. If you suspect Blood Moon, just side in Destructive Revelry.

How are you gonna revelry when you have no basic forest to cast it with?

Because you float the mana as the Moon comes down. If you have a fistful of instants, you just hold up mana and wait to see what he does before you pick which one to cast. It's these little things that separate the successful Burn players from the unsuccessful.

I should have been more specific then since I'm not a burn player: how frequently will you have access to RG, have the 2 mana open, and have revelry in hand? Seems... optimistic to me.

I run Blood Moon in my Burn sideboard, and that's because I don't heavily rely on a or splash. I do splash for Atarka's Command, Boros Charm, and Destructive Revelry in the side. Blood Moon is a fantastic card against many decks, and I've considered bringing it in against the mirror for the OP's reasons. It also can shut down the mirror's sideboard answers, as they generally don't run basic lands as a splash.
I'm the odd one out, usually though :-P

Certainly don't play nonred lands. They slow you down too much to be worthwhile.
Sometimes Moon will make you feel bad. That happens. Just keep it in mind more and leave up Revelry if you can, or just move on to the next one.

it's not worth it.they rarely side Blood Moon in against burn. (they prefer lifegain like in Blessed Alliance or Kitchen Finks)
and when they play the moon main, they are most likely sideboarding it out against burn.
