What is the best card in modern that takes away a creatures toughness?

just toughness? or both? Tragic Slip is one of the better such cards.

Dismember is the best one that does both, Agony Warp is probably the best for just toughness (though it can do power too).

Thanks guys! I think I'm going to go with Tragic Slip but if that doesn't work then i'm going to try Dismember .

Depends on what deck you're running, and what comes in the next block. I don't think its playable right now, there are much better removal options out there. But most of those are rotating, and if the next block doesn't bring some good removal, this might see play.

Yeah, at the moment Bile Blight seems better.

Bile Blight is much better, Abrupt Decay is better too.
