Best color combo to run for infect!

I'm getting into modern and found a really cool modern deck, that ran on crazy low budget and was really well made! The deck was mainly green, but I found a card that I really liked in Phyrexian Crusader and thought he was a great infect card. Does black have enought to make a competitive modern deck that isn't insanely expensive?

donno. you can play BUG or something then. Blighted Agent is like the best infect creature to have though

BUG is the best infect combination as it has Blighted Agent , Glistener Elf , Plague Stinger , Noble Hierarch , and green pump spells with a ton of sideboard options but its not cheap due to it being three color and Noble Hierarch has jump to around 50. If you want the best budget infect go for mono-green. :3

blue green. Just finished setting mine up for modern, super inexpensive, Aqueous Form with a couple of Giant Growth and an infect card and your golden pony boy :p

I have a r/g infect, who needs unblockable when i just burn the creatures out of my way =D
