Best ramp spells in modern?

I'm in the process of brewing up a // shifty (makeshift) breach deck and if needed I can slam out an unfinished/edited version. Example of R/G Breach

I would prefer the ramp spell to put a land into play like Search for Tomorrow or Farseek over something like Desperate Ritual.

A question about Scapeshift style decks. Is Prismatic Omen worth running?

Shift usually runs some combination of Search for Tomorrow, Farseek, and Sakura-Tribe Elder. Maybe Explore on occasion. And to answer your last question, no. Prismatic Omen just isn't needed any more because the amount of damage you can do is X * Y * 3, X = Number of mountains left in deck Y = Number of Valakuts left in play/in the deck.
