Birthing Pod vs Jund

I have been seeing a lot of people saying that Birthing Pod decks outclasses Jund. It just doesn't make sense to me, Jund has some of the best ways to destroy artifacts. Putrefy , Smelt , Shattering Blow ect. Are the options Jund has just are being outclassed and are not worth running in a competitive deck?
Two things, first having answers available doesn't mean anything unless you have those answers in hand. This is rarely a good argument for/against anything, everything has answers. I mean, Hero's Downfall exists, is it bad to play planeswalkers in non-U decks now?
It really just out-aggros jund and has enough recurison, to make Liliana of the Veil a minor issue, with Deathrite Shaman it completely hurts that situation or forces the jund player to remove him then and not have the removal for important things. Running Abrupt Decay usually means goyf is going to die easily, Reveillark and Eternal Witness create some fun times.
Remember this melira pod is an aggro deck that can combo out, having Birthing Pod on the field isn't as important as it seems. Chord of Calling is a convoke based tutor which is instant speed and a 3 of in the deck helps get to the combo also. Pod can be too versatile for jund handle.

Add to that the fact that grave hate now does diddly when confronted with a pod deck. If they see you have grave hate they simply get Archangel of Thune and Spike Feeder and proceed to beat your face in with Birds of Paradise .

Birds has flying, only flyers that Ajundi has is Lingering Souls sooooo, yea.

GoldGhost012 You can beat down with BoP easily if you have the right tools. I've once swung with an 18/1 Birds of Paradise thanks to Kessig Wolf Run and an unanswered Primeval Titan . Don't be so quick to judge, man. 0 power doesn't necessarily mean it can't be a beater.

Gavony Township + Birds of Paradise also wins games in Melira Pod. I won like that once when I proxied the deck up.

Birthing Pod itself is not the main issue in the Pod vs Jund match-up. It's the plethora of 2-for-1 creatures that Pod runs mainboard. In a spot removal heavy deck like Jund, Voice of Resurgence , Kitchen Finks , Murderous Redcap , etc will beat you down since you can't answer them card for card.
