Blade of the Sixth Pride

I was just surfing around cardkingdom.com and under "customers who also purchased Unglued: Paper Tiger also bought:" was Blade of the Sixth Pride . Yes this card has some awesome art, I have a copy myself. But I think it's bad...just awfully, terribly bad. Has anyone actually found good use for this card?

Raksha Golden Cub seems like a god card with it. Actually, I wanna build that deck now. I'm off, thank you sir.

I saw one in a flea market card shop and bought it on a whim because it looks cool. It's not amazing, but it isn't bad by any means... 2 mana for 3/1 is about an even trade.

Amrou Scout , Blightspeaker , Ramosian Revivalist and Defiant Vanguard are all modern legal rebels that could synergize with it.

fair enough lol when I see a creature with a toughness of 1 and no abilities it kinda makes me cringe

Well unless your deck cares about cats or rebels, Accorder Paladin is strictly better.

Well sure. But sometimes you just have to go with what looks cool. I'm assuming this thread isn't a real request; building around a vanilla creature doesn't make for powerful deckbuilding. Unless its something special like Kalonian Tusker . But even still, that's merely a cog in a greater scheme.

I apologize, sir, but I feel the need to purge you now. That last line seems vaguely... Phyrexian...

Naw, I'm what you would call a Disciple of Bolas .

And still I kid. I don't like either of them. I just like sounding eloquent.

Well, I can't fault you there.

And this is completely unrelated, but I only realized this yesterday and the other two main enemies in MtG have already been brought up:

On Zendikar, between the Eldrazi being sealed and them being freed again, the people of Zendikar began to worship three deities named Emeria, Ula, and Cosi. Which I can only assume were mistakes in translation from Emrakul, the Aeons Torn , Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre , and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth .

They were. It's referenced in flavor texts and style guides.
