These two cards from the Jund and Storm decks have been banned in the Modern Format as of today. How do you feel about it?
Anything that diversifies the metagame is healthy in my opinion.
The should be unbanning cards to balance it out more try unbanning card:Green Sun's Zenith and Preordain or Ponder before u go banned happy and piss people off

card:Green Sun's Zenith , Preordain and Ponder are too powerful for modern and would only serve to make existing archetypes stronger.
if anything Wild Nacatl should be unbanned.

I think they are trying to ban things that are too degenerate or too powerful, they are not "ban it if it is good" but they have unbanned Valakut and look it spawned a new deck, they are trying to flush out all possibly top tier decks and they saw Belf as hindering the format more than it is helping it,
Lets not forget that legacy has quite an extensive banned list and it didn't happen over night, Modern will stabilize and It is really fun, people just have to try to innovate and create something new instead of bitching when a too powerful card gets banned,

I disagree with nacatl. If it is unbanned then it will become the choice one drop and a lot of the others in that slot will drift off into the forgotten box.

"they are trying to flush out all possibly top tier decks"
@Thedren_The_Inquisitor: No. They're trying to regulate the format such that no one deck is always winning events. Jund was doing that. There's nothing wrong with a deck being top tier, especially since tier is a measure of popularity.
@bman5604: You'll piss people off no matter what you do. The goal of the DCI is to keep the majority of players happy while also nurturing a diverse format. Banning Bloodbraid Elf will hopefully give Jund a bit of a setback and allow other decks to start winning events. Unbanning card:Green Sun's Zenith would make zoo decks, along with all green decks, much more powerful because of Tarmogoyf and Noble Hierarch . Ponder and Preordain are banned because they make combo decks way too consistent (and therefore powerful).
As for the new bannings, I'm okay with them. I don't play Modern currently, but their reasoning is sound.

Well I was stating that by banning Bloodbraid Elf they are nerfing a deck that wins a disproportionate amount of tournaments, which should allow new decks to flourish, Fingers crossed hopefully,

I think Jund will survive and plug Huntmaster of the Fells Flip directly into Bloodbraid Elf s spot and not skip a beat. which is good. Belf is a degenerate no skill card, it is a 2 for 1 that really takes away from the game. Its an annoying card that took away from the game.
Seething Song I am sad to see go, I do not think storm was as big of an issue as it could have been, but I guess they see it becoming a problem so they nipped it in the bud
I am happy now because i do not have to worry about Turn three Bloodbraid Elf into a Slagstorm yeah thats never fun when your playing affinity
