Blue Creature for Pod?

So I built a Junk Pod decklist splashing blue for Treasure Cruise, and began to wonder what decent creatures I could bring into the deck. Currently, I've just got Geist of Saint Traft and Phantasmal Image. I'm not going for the combo, just a sort of midrangey, toolboxy list.
So, yeah. Any nice blue creatures to Pod into would be great. Thanks for reading.
I don't play Pod, but I would imagine that Geist of Saint Traft would be a good choice as you pointed out. Another more niche card would be Glen Elendra Archmage so you can protect your Pod and, if need be,

I didn't finish my thought, but Glen Elendra Archmage can also be pod'ed away to grab Archangel of Thune or Thragtusk depending on what you're running.

Geist of Saint Traft would be pretty terrible in Pod. No ETB effect, and really it's a Gray Ogre in a midrange deck at that point. Glen Elendra Archmage is very good, and so is Phantasmal Image. Deceiver Exarch is in Kiki-Pod but I imagine you don't play that combo.

I would agree that Deceiver Exarch would be nice, but I doubt you want to go 5-color Pod for Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker alongside Deceiver Exarch/Pestermite.
And now that I think about it, Archangel of Thune + Glen Elendra Archmage is a nasty combo.

Phyrexian Metamorph..?
Clever Impersonator...?
Not being a Pod player, I can't say for sure, but they seem like interesting options. - Of course, as they are copies of something else, they may not end up having a CMC of 4... so it may screw with the Pod curve.

Glen Elendra Archmage is the big one. Useful on its own and goes well with pod. Spellskite is always useful but I typically think of it as a sideboard card for most lists. Phantasmal Image is a flexible choice. Geist of Saint Traft seems pretty lack luster here tbh. I do question going pod with no combo intent though. I mean I get not wanting the hard combo of Kiki pod but the basic combo of Melira, Sylvok Outcast with Kitchen Finks or Glen Elendra Archmage is so strong. That being said in your shoes I might just try and stick to junk pod. Treasure Cruise is good but I think a straight Junk goodstuff pod is a more robust list with a simpler mana base. Just my opinion though.

Phyrexian Metamorph is really the very best option you have here.

I agree, Phyrexian Metamorph and Glen Elendra Archmage are both great.

Honestly, don't play Treasure Cruise in pod. You really don't need it, and it will take up space for some of the silver bullets you could be playing. Pod is one of the best card advantage producing decks in the format, it doesn't need any card draw. That being said, I do like the idea of Glen Elendra Archmage, and Phyrexian Metamorph was a card that use to see play in pod lists, although you never paid for him

I agree. Treasure Cruise is really bad in pod. You need to play a high creature density to make pod good so you dont end up with a lot of cards in the yard unless you have pod out in which case its its usual Treasure Cruise self. I am not a pod player myself either but the way i understand it the pod mana base is also kind of shaky. I dont think you want to worsen it by adding a fourth color.

One of the reason Melira Pod has been so good is that it can afford to run Gavony Township, which gives it the beatdown plan when it isn't going to combo. You really cant afford to run township in a 4 color deck (which is why it isn't played in Kiki Pod). I think you are really getting away from what makes pod good.

Junk pod, best pod. I feel like people have said it well. The fourth color just is not worth it here.

Spellskite should be the choice and was ran in the melira list for awhile. It helps save your combo pieces and a few other things from removal and chains into Kitchen Finks nicely.
