So with the rotation coming soon, I'm thinking of moving my Esper control standard deck into Modern, and since most of Modern happened since I took a bit of a break from Magic (something I regret doing) for a few years, I'm wondering about the good staples to use in a Modern deck.
Obviously I'll probably be using Mana Leak x4 and Snapcaster Mage x4 and Restoration Angel x2. I'm thinking of going with mostly instants and sorceries, so maybe use Delver of Secrets Flip , though I'm not committed to that route, but if I can fill the deck up with enough instants and sorceries to keep it going, that works for me. I have Supreme Verdict x4 and Sphinx's Revelation x3. I'll probably throw in Lingering Souls x4 and run Tamiyo, the Moon Sage x2.
Any help from there? I can throw in Isochron Scepter x2 as well, so 1 or 2 mana instants would be great.
Thanks in advance. If it works out better, I have the land base to go WUG instead of WUB.

I appreciate the thought, but I'm not just going to copy some deck. I want to know what good cards there are to use.

click on modern and look up anything that has blue in it (u) shows all the current deck list that have 4-0 online or top 8ed at a event or online premier event.
