Bobs in Affinity?

So I don't know if this is already a thing or not, but I had a idea recently. What about putting Dark Confidant s in Affinity decks? The highest CMC in most Affinity decks is usually 5 from the few Thoughtcast , but other than that its usually 0-3. Bob would refill your hand, which would be extremely when you pretty much play your whole hand by turn 3, and wouldn't cost you much life even if you had multiply out at a time. Again, this was just something I thought of and was wondering if it was already a thing or not, and if it isn't, why more Affinity decks don't run Dark Confidant .

Yeah, that's true. It was just a idea I had, figured I'd post it and see what other people thought about it. Thanks for the input!

Dark Affinity was around for a while, most folks have simply abandoned it for more consistent draws.
Dark Confidant really wants to come down on T2, heck potentially T1 in Affinity, but there is only about 10-12 sources that even make colored mana in the deck and not all of those are always on and/or a basic Swamp . He also doesn't feed into the Cranial Plating engine, synergies with Arcbound Ravager or Steel Overseer , or turn on your metalcraft. Affinity also doesn't really want to grind, it wants to be explosive and do near-combo-esque things.

It's too slow, and it isn't an artifact. Why run Dark Confidant and set yourself back when you can just Thoughtcast for U?
