Budget Smallpox?

Hey guys,
I'm looking to build a budget deck featuring two of my favorite cards ever printed: Smallpox and Lingering Souls .
Just wondering how you guys think I should go about this? I'd rather not play an 8rack style deck, but something that can utilize all of Smallpox 's effect. So basically, what are some good cheap options for BW Control in modern?

I agree with GoofyFoot. B/W tokens is probably the most budget friendly.

Then if u want u can upgrade it with more money cards over time. Bitterblossom and Voice of Resurgence . Even Tarmogoyf or go an Ensnaring Bridge route.

a few cards that can help with what you're doing. Cards marked with an "n" are not budget friendly, but very helpful if you can acquire them, and cards with a "k" are kinda budget friendly, depending on your budget, i.e. 5-20-ish range. Flagstones of Trokair k, Bitterblossom n, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth n, Liliana of the Veil n, Bloodghast k, Geralf's Messenger , Gravecrawler k, Blasting Station , Nether Traitor . It really depends on what kind of build you want. You could go zombies, b/w tokens, or a "reanimator" deck.

Right now, I'm looking at a sort of Life from the Loam control. As it turns out, running a 4 color deck with all basic lands and basic fetches (Evolving Wilds ) isn't too shabby in my semi-competitive environment. The build that I have right now pretty much comes down to Life from the Loam , Lingering Souls , Smallpox , Faithless Looting , Drown in Filth , Dreg Mangler , Scavenging Ooze , and Flame Jab . I've thrown in a couple of the other dredge cards as filler right now while I wait for my 3rd and 4th copies of loam, and Lightning Bolt is my filler for Flame Jab , but in testing it's been working pretty well. It doesn't die in the early game and can win pretty late in the game against control. I'd love some help on this list, or some other loam lists, though, so I can get a better idea of what i'm doing.

W/B tokens? it can run land destruction, discard, and creature population. it's also mildly competitive, and maybe even what the even deck is going to be.
