I am just getting into modern and had one clarification that I've not found a clear answer to.

If i have a card from something like 4th edition, but the card is still modern legal From a more recent printing, can i use the fourth edition one, or does it have to be The newer one? Just want to.clarify.

You can use the older one. Some idiots play stuff like Odyssey basic lands and such.

You can definitely use the old one.

Yep. He was printed in 10th, but you can use the Alpha if you so choose.

As long as there was a printing in a Modern legal set, carry on. I prefer the older versions, actually. I like The Dark printing of Blood Moon. Tis gorgeous.

The Dark has some cool cards I've always loved The Dark printing of Carnivorous Plant

The Dark's Maze of Ith, Leviathan, Elves of Deep Shadow, and Frankenstein's Monster are some of my other favorites.
