Compensating for Speed

I'm currently building a modern superfriends deck, and like most control/tempo/midrangey/superfriends decks, its not all that fast.

Currently, I run 2 Wrath of God , 4 Path to Exile , 3 Timely Reinforcements , 3 Wall of Omens and 2 Witchbane Orb to try and compensate for the low speed of my deck, as well as protect it from burn.

I was wondering what the best ways to compensate for a bit of a slow build in modern are (preferably in the in the esper colors, as that is what my deck is).

I already think I need to up the Wrath of God count from 2 to 4, and remove the 2 Martial Coup altogether.

I don't think it'll be very easy to speed up and keep the deck concept strong. You might consider draw, or scry...

I'd advise you throw in cheap gems like Silence , make sure you hinder your opponent at EVERY step rather than trying to speed yourself up.
