Rune Snag vs [[mana leak], who takes the cake?

Most decks play Mana Leak because it's 3 vs. 2 with one Rune Snag and once you get a second, there's not going to be much difference between 3 and 4 (besides, they'll leave 4 mana open because you have the first Rune Snag in the graveyard).

Yeah Mana Leak is definitely better when running snappy

I'm not a modern player so I wouldn't know... but is it unorthodox to run both?
