Deathmark or Execute

Given prevalence of Siege Rhino, and the fact that Zoo will most likely come back, does anyone think these may be worth sideboard spots?

Deathmark seems possible, but I don't like the 3 CMC spot of Execute.

Execute is very fringe. The fact that it's instant speed and also draws you a card gives it some merit though.

No, they are too narrow. What if the opponent don't play a rhino? Then you can't really use it...

Deathmark hitsTarmogoyf, Siege Rhino, Wild Nacatl, etc. etc. for 1 mana. Also hits tokens, and white creatures played in Hatebears. I did also specifically say 'sideboard'

With the relative dissapearance of pod, I don't think Execute is efficient enough to warrant a sideboard spot, and Deathmark has seen some fringe play in rack, but with pod (relatively) gone, I think it's too conditional...

Yea, I know they hit those creatures. But you would just rather run an Anger of the Gods against Zoo and also Hatebears. I see that it hits Tarmo. Which of course is good...

Sure, if you're playing Jund. But Jund is the lesser played (currently) of the two archetypes. Furthermore sometimes Anger of the Gods is really inappropriate to use (ie. if they have just one creature).

Jund certainly has no issues with control though.

Deathmark actually seems very good. People will play Jeskai Control and BGx, so it's a good choice for at least a couple of weeks.
