Dig through Time/ Treasure Cruise, or sphinx's revelation?

So I love playing American Control in modern, and I have been playing Dig Through Time for a while now, and at instant speed it is bonkers and usually can win me the game. However, today I looked online and found that Sphinx's Revelation's price dropped dramatically. I was wondering what I should be running: dig or revelation. Dig Through Time costs a whole lot less mana and lets you chose what you want, but hurts snapcaster a bit. Sphinx's Revelation gets more cards and gains life, but then you end up running 26 lands just to be able to cast it properly. HELP ME OUT HERE

I like revelation a lot more. Yeah the land thing can be an issue, but Revelation gets you out of a lot more sticky situation. Maybe you could find a way to run both?

Run both. UWR control can never have too much card draw.

1 rev, the rest you can dig

I run 2 of each in a Pseudo-control deck. I might drop one of them to 1, but so far having both works out pretty well. I'd suggest a 2-1 split (in either direction) or a 2-2 split.

Run 2 of each. Revelation is great against aggressive decks, and Dig is good when you need a specific answer, especially post-sideboarding. You can also Dig for your Revelations which is always fun.

i suggest 2-1 dig-rev cuz at the beginning of the game your yard is filling up quickly with Path to Exiles and Lightning Bolts so in the early mid game digs are not dead but in the early mid game rev is not good. you want to dig to your revs and hit them late game to seal the deal

I personally like 2-2 between them, and find it works really well. Digging into Rev is a great way to win games.

I've been playing Rev since RTR even came out (mostly standard tbh, but some modern), and I have to admit that it's terribly lackluster for me in modern. I only own Revs, and I wish they were Digs! The main issue is that the mana investment is so steep. It's usually just a 6 mana instant speed Treasure Cruise (the lifegain is mostly admissible) or it just isn't worth casting otherwise. I've switched to TC, but if I owned them, 3x Dig 100%. Never looking back, even when I play 3x Snapcaster Mage.

I play UWR Control as well and I have settled on 2 Dig Through Time with 2 Sphinx's Revelation in the sideboard. The digs never hurt my Snapcaster Mages too badly...

2 Dig Through Time, 1 Sphinx's Revelation. I'd consider playing a third Dig and cutting back on Snapcaster Mages, but never multiple Revs.

sphynx's rev is strong in control, if you are playing more of a tempo or midrange (geist OST, resto+ v clique, blade splicer) etc... the power of selective draw cannot be over stated.

I split 2-1 revs to digs, this is because I feel that in matchups that run delve spells of their own dig isn't doing anything to get you ahead, while rev is good against everything with the bonus potential of going over the top of these decks, additionally the life gain is nothing to sneeze at, 4 life makes it essentially a counter spell that draws four against a deck that runs bolt, which half of them do
