Does Beck / Call make it in Modern Elves?

Its worse than Glimpse of Nature but that got banned.
There is a Elves combo deck that uses it. It's not tier, it just plays a lot like Storm, using Cloudstone Curio as well to bounce and replay stuff.

It's a decent take on elves. You also get Coiling Oracle for adding the blue, and you can just run a bunch of green fetchlands, 2-3 Breeding Pool, and Arbor Elf can help reduce the life cost or make two blue mana if need be. Here's a popular example on the site:

I just watched a T1GlistenerElf video (deck list too) yesterday and he used Distant Melody in his list. So there is something to be gained from running the blue.

Ok cool, I am thinking of going the Elf route for modern I just wasn't sure about going mono green or Simic. Collected Company and Chord of Calling are great tutors so thanks. I don't know how to pilot the deck yet so advice is needed. I still have certain staples to gather. I have simic shocks and fetches. I do want to stay consistant

My friend runs green/black midrange elves, with lots of Lords and token makers, plus Abrupt Decay and Thoughtseize. It works pretty well. Craterhoof is a great finisher there too.

You could try something like this:
Elves on Shelves Playtest
Modern

I like running Nissa Revane in the deck, however, as she is a fantastic way to counter heavy aggro and burn strategies in the meta right now. The main thing I like about it is it's quickness, power, and ability to respond to threats with cards such as Thoughtseize and Abrupt Decay. Play around with it and let me know what you think. Also don't forget that Elvish Promenade exists which could be an awesome addition to a deck like this.

Nice thank you vishnarg I will look this over. I am still brewing with elves and I look forward to start showing up for Modern at my LGS.

The main problem is using blue, which doesn't add much to the deck, and the fact that the way the "combo" works needs way too many moving pieces. The Collected Company version just works better because resolving a collected company with an empty hand is far better than resolving Beck with an empty hand.
